We had an amazing stay. We really utilised the amenities that the cabin had to offer: hot tub, BBQ grill, fire pit, projector, and the fireplace. Very quiet area and a short drive to the town and grocery stores.

Really enjoyed a quiet mid-week stay with our golden retriever, great location super convenient to town. Very spacious, comfortable and probably one of the quietest places we have ever stayed. The projector TV was a bit of a technical challenge for a couple of boomers but the clear, concise directions made it a snap to use. I had to return to the house after check out as I thought I had left an item behind (stuffed in car) and met the cleaning/maintenance crew who were very helpful, super friendly and do a great job keeping the property to a high standard. Very much looking forward to returning soon.

We had a great stay. It was a very cozy cabin that was close to town but far enough away that it was very quiet. They had most everything you need to cook with. Our favorite part was the fenced area for our puppy so that he could run and play off leash safely. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful cabin with a really nice hot tub

Wonderful cabin with a really nice hot tub. It snowed heavily during our stay and we bought a sled we left on property for someone else to enjoy after us the kids had blast sledding and building snowmen. It was a picture perfect white Christmas! The cabin is very close to Leavenworth so we also enjoyed the lights as well as the mountains.

The cabin was a great place to stay in Leavenworth. It was close to town but still quiet. The cabin was well maintained and comfortable. The only issue was the outdoor security light didn’t work so used a flashlight to get from the front door to the truck.

It’s October and the drive and location to this Cabin is gorgeous! We felt great in our private cabin perfect for two . It was awesome having an indoor theatre system that we could stream our own apps from. The Hot tub was awesome and privacy was great. It’s very homey feeling and super clean. Thank you so much. Our only regret is we had only enough time in our schedule for 2 nights. Its location near the city is perfect!

The cabin is simply amazing! Location and quaintness are plus. Hot tub was so relaxing. Lots of games and books to read. Very clean. Anything you needed was available here. Easy to access upon check in. The only issue we had since we have dogs is the fenced dog area was in need of big repair. A lot of down fence line. We made do and did our best to aid the area, but would have been great to have that fenced area fully up and supported.

Had a great stay at Bear Paw cabin! Location is ideal, very close to downtown while still being secluded in the woods. Very comfortable stay and stocked with everything you need for your stay. Management company was great to deal with and responsive, even accommodating our last minute change of plans to arrive a day early. No major issues at all, just a few things that should be addressed; the dishwasher needs to be cleaned as there was a noticeable odor and mold/mildew visible, the patio door deadbolt gets stuck in the lock position and requires extra effort and multiple attempts to unlock, and the gated area is in disarray. The fencing has collapsed and the gate is unusable. Minor issues that didn’t affect our stay at all. Would stay again when back in the area.

This cabin has a ‘family cabin’ feel. Comfy with just about anything you might need or want. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing. Porch swing was also relaxing. I would bring your own pillow unless you like a thick, firm pillow, they have lots of those. It was nice being so close to downtown Leavenworth.

Was way bigger than expected, and tons of privacy. Had everything we needed. Since it’s not shown in the pictures - the dog area is a thin fenced (but tall) area on the other side of the driveway. There’s a picnic table over there to sit. It’s proximity from the house is ~30 feet away and doesn’t back up to either of the porches.

Stayed a few days during a heatwave with highs above 100. The AC made for a comfortable place to relax, and since it’s so shaded, we were able to enjoy the deck and porch in the mornings and evenings. Interior is nice and roomy, too! Would definitely visit again.

Great spacious cabin

We have nothing but great things to say about this cabin!! Spacious cabin, really too big for just 2 people - the kitchen was very well stocked (they had labels on the doors and drawers which helps!), the patio was nice to enjoy in the evening while using the bbq then soaking in the hot tub, there are 2 large couches and a love seat in the family area with a huge projection screen which was nice to have one day when it rained. The property is quiet and off the road but close enough to Leavenworth. Next time I will bring my dog because there is a fenced-in area for pets with a picnic table to sit at, and they even have dog treats there with dog bowls. The beds were very comfortable which was great after our days walking all around Leavenworth and hiking. Nice to have the laundry room as well (with laundry soap and dryer sheets). I have already recommended this to a friend and will be coming back to bring my mom.

It was just as cozy as I expected based on the reviews. The hot tub was perfect. There were no neighbors visible and even though the cabin is on a flag lot, the home below us wasn’t occupied. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The porch was so relaxing, the scenery and closeness to town made the trip even better. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere that was so quiet. The ONLY thing I could critique is the pillows. I wish I had brought my own, but that’s a matter of preference. Worth every penny and the drive from Tigard, OR

This is a great cozy cabin in a very quiet, private area not far from downtown Leavenworth. I would be hard pressed to come up with anything negative to say about this place. It was very clean and comfortable; comfortable beds; nice dining area; large, functional kitchen; great parking for easy loading and unloading; great office area that also provides an additional toilet; roomy hot tub on a deck with string lights that provide a festive atmosphere; beautiful, covered porch with a small, propane fire pit; extremely quiet, with beautiful surroundings; and...only minutes from downtown Leavenworth. The only negative I can think of is really nit-picky. The dog area is just a large, fenced area away from the house that is all just dirt and weeds. However, we brought our own tether and staked it in the front yard, so we were good to go. We will almost certainly be back. I recommend this place highly!

The managers were extremely responsive when I reached out about an outside light not working. It was a ten minute drive to town and lots of outdoor walks. It was exactly everything we had hoped for. The only things we do not rate 5/5 stars on was level of cleanliness. This was the exact getaway my boys and I needed. We have been cooped up for too long with Covid, and this was the perfect place to stay out of town from the busy-ness of downtown Leavenworth, with the relaxing downtime in the trees and the hot tub. My boys and I didn't want to leave. Would suggest bringing an air mattress or a roll away bed that coud be setup in the office area for another sleeping area. Otherwise completely perfect, we will be visiting it again!

We enjoyed staying at this cabin many times during winter, summer time was new to us there, but did not disappoint! We like the location, the amenities, and the very private wooded setting. We did have a concern before going this time when we learned the forecast of 90+ degrees, but the little A/C unit together with a couple of fans already set up for us worked surprisingly well - it was very comfy inside!
The cabin was also very clean when we arrived - as usual.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the beds in the bedroom could have use an upgrade. They seem getting old and not so comfortable mattresses.

My husband and I were looking for a no-contact getaway from the city where we could arrive and not leave the entire weekend. That is just what we were able to do at Bear Paw. We loved the outdoor areas, especially the hot tub and outdoor dining. We played games, watched lots of TV on the projector, and made all of our meals on the grill. The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of space for cooking. When we were enjoying our lunch one day, we were greeted by a wild turkey and her chicks roaming around the property. We enjoyed how cozy Bear Paw is. The kitchen utensils were ample and we prepared many meals together. There was plenty of room for the dogs and they were able to expend their energy. Not what we expected. Stressful. Dangerous driveway for 4WD in the winter. We had no lighting to cook with in the kitchen. Broken light. Shower head spraying the ceiling in bathroom. Mold on inside of cabin doors. Cabinets falling apart. Had to hike into cabin on the ice in the dark and part at neighbors. Very icy and dangerous!

We are so very disappointed to read this review as well. AFTER we sent 3 of our crew up late next morning (after several email/text attempts to reach you since cell service is so limited and we were finally able to connect) to not only sand the driveway for you, but to replace the entire light fixture and the shower head (something we were not aware of until you informed us about it). The driveway was plowed just prior to your arrival that afternoon and as advertised the driveway does require 4WD (not AWD) and/or chains, as it is a steep grade as noted in the pictures on the listing. This s also why we provide sand at the cabin for our guests should they need it. It is unfortunate that none of that was mentioned in the review as we do our best to take care of our guests at all levels and resolve anything that is brought to our attention as quickly as possible and while they are on site so as to not impede on their stay. I will have someone go in and take a look at the cabinets and the inside of the doors you mention as this too, is new feedback.. Not what we expected. Stressful. Dangerous driveway for 4WD in the winter. We had no lighting to cook with in the kitchen. Broken light. Shower head spraying the ceiling in bathroom. Mold on inside of cabin doors. Cabinets falling apart. Had to hike into cabin on the ice in the dark and part at neighbors. Very icy and dangerous!

We are so very disappointed to read this review as well. AFTER we sent 3 of our crew up late next morning (after several email/text attempts to reach you since cell service is so limited and we were finally able to connect) to not only sand the driveway for you, but to replace the entire light fixture and the shower head (something we were not aware of until you informed us about it). The driveway was plowed just prior to your arrival that afternoon and as advertised the driveway does require 4WD (not AWD) and/or chains, as it is a steep grade as noted in the pictures on the listing. This s also why we provide sand at the cabin for our guests should they need it. It is unfortunate that none of that was mentioned in the review as we do our best to take care of our guests at all levels and resolve anything that is brought to our attention as quickly as possible and while they are on site so as to not impede on their stay. I will have someone go in and take a look at the cabinets and the inside of the doors you mention as this too, is new feedback.. We had a wonderful weekend at the Bear Paw Cabin. Everything was just as described. Clean, well-stocked, and such a great location. We used the hot tub 2 x daily and picked up some firewood for the indoor stove. So cozy! We cooked some amazing meals with ease as the kitchen is well equipped and went to town on Sunday to watch the Seahawks. Would highly recommend The Loft for great food and atmosphere. We are already discussing returning with some family members during the winter months. We are avid snowmobilers and Eagle Creek has a great trail head location for riding out of. We can’t wait! Thank you, Comfy Cabins, for a great experience.

Ooooo, you found my favorite place for Steak Nachos and drinks. We love to meet up with our kids at the Loft whnever they visit us. Was a awesome place to get away with the wife and dogs. We just loved the property and the dogs were very comfortable. Advertisement made it sound like the yard was fenced for the dogs but that is a bit deceptive. There is a dog run that is not attached to the regular yard on the on the hillside. Overall it was very cozy and no other people in site while we visited. There is a house down below closer to the street but nobody wa Sm there.

Thank you for your comments. There is a dog run there that makes having the dogs outside, safe and free from getting lost in the excitement of smells and sounds that can be so enticing to our pets. We do describe the separate pet enclosure in our description to explain that it is a place for 'daytime' use, to keep pets safe from wondering off and it is very large and a great feature. The neighbor (which is also mentioned in the description) is rarely ever there, they tend to come a couple times a year, so the little private drive settled into the mountains is nearly always occupied by our Bear Paw guests only. They are also owners of one of our other properties so they are very mindful of guests when they do actually come over. Their cabin sits below the Bear Paw cabin making this a rather private and 'away from it all' location that is also quite near to town, which is a wonderful part of coming to our area. (although many guests seem to arrive at the cabin and end up not wanting to leave). We sincerely hope that your enjoyed your time with us and hope you will return again, with your pets!

Pros- Clean, close to Leavenworth, comfortable bed,great hot tub.

Cons- BBQ was dirty and caught on fire. Bathroom sink was clogged and took forever to drain. No batteries in remotes (took forever to try and set up TV). No coffee. We purchased coffee and batteries and left for future guests.

So sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay to the fullest. The BBQ is brand new so we have done a thorough check of it and all aspects of it. There was a small amount of grease on the tents that cover the flame, but that is all that we could discover that was wrong with the grill. We are deeply sorry that you had an issue. The sink has been cleared and is draining speedily now. We most certainly would have come out to address any issues and brought batteries and unclogged the sink for you. To be very sincere, the tv has never had any issues with being set up before so I wonder if the batteries had something to do with that. All is working well now however. We leave packets of coffee, at least 2 per visit, and if they were missed during the set up, we sincerely apologize and would have brought some to you had we been contacted. I hope if you ever stay at a rental cabin again in the future you will give the people that are here to assist you a phone call. We absolutely want to be able to correct any problems that come up so that you enjoy the time you are staying in the area. It is our pleasure to assist our guests and we are always happy to do so.

Comfortable cabin, loved the deck and the hot tub. The WiFi is brutally slow, and little cell service. We enjoyed our stay.

I am so sorry for the slower internet. We are still on slower wifi in some locations but getting the high speed in more and more spots all the time. I am not very savy about these things, but I am experiencing that here in Seattle right now and I really do not know why that happens. Great location, close by Leavenworth and the tubing hill which was a blast. Home was very welcoming. Had everything we needed. The hill getting to the house is very steep and slick in snow/rain so make sure you have the right tire systems before heading here in winter.

Only negative, the internet had been well used by past renters this month and reached the data cap so our speed was horribly slow. You can’t even use it to watch Netflix and at least for T-Mobile users there is no service.

But apart from that we will be back.

So so sorry that you did not let us is just a simple call and the internet is upgraded. Sadly they no longer send a warning about the limits being met but it is a quick fix to call when that happens. We do have numbers posted in the cabin and always respond to calls, text or do not ever hesitate to reach out so that we can do our part to ensure your best getaway experience. I am happy the rest was good but I sure would have loved to helped with the internet.

Was a nice place but had some issues. First the internet was over the limit, so we had no internet. They were helpful and fixed it after a day's stay. I wouldn't say it was completely private. Shared the area with another home, but they weren't there during our stay. I would say if they were you would be able to hear them and see them from the deck. Also, not sure they changed the sheets. To my horror we drew back the covers and one bed had so much hair in it. The other bed less hair but still had hair! It was awful! They did bring new sheets the next day but that was very off putting. Everything else was clean though. Last night we could hear mice running around in the ceiling in the bedroom, so I couldn't sleep at all.

We addressed housekeeping and new sheets of higher quality have been purchased/replaced in the cabin that have a higher thread count. I can assure you with 100% certainty that the sheets were washed but hairs can remain after a wash and the higher thread count will be helpful with this for sure. We have contacted pest control about the sounds you were hearing (they are on a monthly pest maintenance plan as most of our NW Comfy Cabins are due to their mountain/remote locations) and have since checked it out. Regarding the neighbors below the Bear Paw, they are part timers, owner of another cabin we manage so very aware of being good neighbors and are very rarely have never had any of our guests complain about noise or the feeling of "lack of privacy" when they are there and are confident they would have not intruded on your stay HAD they been there. We rented Bear Paw at the end of July for 10 days and had a great experience. The cabin was in a secluded area but still only 3 miles from town and was surrounded by trees, so the cabin never got too hot. There was A/C in the living room and fans in the other rooms which was good for keeping things cool. The deck got sun for a few hours in the afternoon and there was another side deck which was covered, providing shade when needed. Everything was clean and in good working order. When we had a couple of issues with the Wi-Fi, the property management company were friendly and acted promptly. When we left, we texted to let them know we departed a little earlier than necessary and they sent us a return text wishing us a safe trip home. We definitely hope to return in the future!

Very cozy. Spacious fenced in area for the dogs. Nice projector for movies with the kids. Parking was a little tight as we had 2 larger cars (mid size SUV and a large truck) but doable. Hot tub was great. Wild turkeys were a bonus! Only real issue is that the land line didn't work, had to drive a whole 3 minutes to town to get cell service.

The palce needs to be gone through, for plumbing issues, loose plumbing, the decking was covered with debris from trees, we had to sweep it in order to go out on the deck barefoot. Overall the place was clean and ver comfortable, I would recomend the cabin to friends. I see noticed the place is for sale. I am courious what the asking price is.

The Bear Paw cabin was really cute and comfortable and the PERFECT distance from downtown Leavenworth. The inside of the cabin was very neat and tidy.
My only complaint is that while the folks at Comfy Cabins are very nice, they seem to lack a bit of communication and organizational skills. They never charged my card for the damage deposit that was clearly outlined in the contract. Normally I wouldn't complain about something like this, but if I am to adhere to their stringent contract agreements, then they should do the same. Also their response emails are a little hard to understand as they are full of spelling and grammatical errors--again, not a huge deal, just a little unprofessional. Other than those minor details we had a wonderful experience and would probably use Comfy Cabins again in the future.

Our time at the Bear Paw was great! The cabin was very clean, and all our needs were met. The crickets serenaded us at night, while we had turkeys and grouse in the yard during the day.The trees surrounding the cabin kept it cooler than in town, and it felt as if we were in a tree house above the ground.The hot tub was great after hiking, or as a wake up in the morning.This was a great get-a-way for our 40th anniversary, and we look forward to coming back again!

This was a last-minute booking for us, as our previous vacation plans became unraveled. And what serendipity this was - a very neat and private house with all the space a family of 4 + dog could want, nestled in a quiet valley with spectacular views, all a very short drive away from downtown Leavenworth. Repeat daily trips into town were easy, which makes for a less 'scheduled' vacation. Whether it was lazy breakfast on the deck or family movie night every night on the big screen, this cabin left us wanting for nothing. The NW Comfy Cabins team was very responsive, as was the owner. We were overall really satisfied with our stay at Bear Paw. The location was ideal, right outside of downtown Leavenworth. It's the last cabin up a short driveway set off from the main road. The back of the cabin is set against wooded area which is nice because it offers privacy. It also has a little hill next to the cabin that was perfect to do a little sledding. The hot tub had just been cleaned the day we arrived which was really nice. It seems to be maintained really well. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. There were a couple very minor things I was a little disappointed by one of which being the temperature in the room we slept in. We had the heater on and the fire going but the temperature in the room still seemed really cold. Although, the living room stayed really warm especially when there was a fire going. The lighter provided to start the fire also didn't work. Also, we started to do one of the jigsaw puzzles provided then realized it was missing pieces. Like I said, very minor things that didn't put a damper on our stay at all. We would definitely recommend staying at Bear Paw. It was a very relaxing stay for us.

My fiance and I and another couple stayed here for a weekend and had a blast. Very quiet location, close to town, and all the comforts of home. The only small complaint we had was the hot tub had a ton of bromine in it, so it was a little harsh on the skin. But it had just been serviced, so maybe something weird happened. Overall, awesome place to stay and a pain free rental experience.

I enjoyed my vacation at Bear Paw thoroughly. The cabin is only a short drive from town and yet feels far enough away to be private. The cabin is comfy and it was fantastic hot tubbing under the stars. This would be a great place for a couple or a small family.

The process for switching cabins was a little frustrating but we got bear paw and it was great. We went to Leavenworth for the Oktoberfest fest and actually liked that we weren't right downtown especially now that Uber is an option. The cabin and surrounding area were beautiful! We had an amazing time. We would like to rent it again in the winter.

We have rented several cabins through Comfy Cabins and think they are the easiest to work with. Had a wonderful stay at Bear Paw. Loved the amount of space in the kitchen and living areas, the spacious deck, the hot tub, the very comfortable bed, and we enjoyed the large projector TV as well. Drove into Leavenworth once for a few groceries and ate in Cashmere at Country Boys BBQ-very tasty! All in all a nice trip to unwind and relax with the hubby. Highly recommend Bear Paw for a couples getaway!

I have been renting cabins in the Leavenworth fish lake area for 20 years and have enjoyed working with the folks at comfy cabins for at least the last several years, great service, very considerate. 2 years ago my wife an I were scheduled to get away for a few days in the winter and the hot tub at the cabin we rented was having issues. Comfy cabins notified us an offered a huge upgrade in our lodging before we even left, We ended up going with the Bear Paw cabin which was less than what they were willing to give us and it was the best choice I had ever made in fact we liked it so much we came back to it for 5 days the next year and we will come back to it Lord willing every time we are looking for a getta way for us it had everything we wanted. I must admit in the winter you need a 4x4 to get up the driveway and possibly even chains but it is well worth it, Thank you to comfy Cabins for allowing us to pick this cabin as a replacement and to the owners for sharing it with us the only problem with this cabin is its so hard to leave. The cabin was beautiful. Property was very nice. Hot tub amazing view and design with deck
Projection HD TV was perfect for watching playoff football

But. One drawer of kitchen utensils had rat or mouse droppings in it. Which made using the kitchen unappetizing. On our last two mornings we woke up to the sounds of some kind of animals in the walls

There was also dog poop and pee in the snow on the deck that had not been cleaned up before our arival

Normally northwest comfy cabins are clean and perfect. This was the exception and a little disappointing

Overall we had a great time but cabin could have been veyyer maintained. We didn't call while we were there because we just wanted to enjoy our time and not be tied up with dealing with a exterminator or having to change our schedule around

Cory, Thank you for taking the time in communicating your review. It is much appreciated and we feel awful that you chose not to call so we could get pest control out there, but do understand your reasoning. We have a call into them now and will get that taken care of ASAP. We are also communicating with our subcontractor who does the shoveling/yard maintenance of your experience with the deck having dog droppings on it and to ensure they do not miss doing that between ALL guests. The cleaning company will be in to sanitize and clean out the kitchen drawers as well, and make sure to run all of those utensils through a hot cycle in the d/w. We are so glad that you enjoyed the cabin/area the otherwise and always look forward to having you as our guests. :O) Thank you again Cory for sharing your review. The cabin has one large bathroom which is a 5 piece bathroom with a tub/shower ,2 sinks and a separate shower all in the same bathroom. It has a laundry room with a toilet and a laundry room sink. This is technically a separate bathroom. Future renters should be made aware of this. I was extremely disappointed in that this was falsely advertised in the listing. I never would have rented it if this had been made known in the description of the cabin. My own home is 1.75 baths and is 2 separate rooms-one with a tub/ shower and the other bath with only a shower. I feel the owners need to relist the decription as it truly is -a 5 piece 1 bathroom and a laundry room toilet with a laundry sink -NOT 1.75 baths. This is not convenient when you have 3 people trying to use 1 bathroom. When I called NW Comfy Cabins I was told that I was the 1st persom to "complain" about this . I highly doubt this! My first experience was not a satisfactory one. Also, when we arrived we found out that the cabin did not have central air conditioning but only a wall unit in the living room and it had not been turned on prior to our arrival at 4:30pm. It was a 104 on the 31st of July and 89 in the cabin and did not cool off all night. If you have guests arriving , don't you think it would be courteous to turn it on prior to their arrival especially on so hot a day? Also the coffee pot and counters had not been thoroughly cleaned. I don't think you will post this review as it is not very positive. You should talk to the owners. They need to be honest about the bathroom situation.I will NOt be renting this cabin again and will in future ask direct questions as you cannot be guaranteed to be told the truth about a property as it is described online.

We indeed have never had anyone say anything about it before, but I assure you it has been corrected so as to avoid any future confusion. :O) We WILL most certainly post your review as we have never intentionally falsely advertised ANY one of our vacation rentals and would never do so, as our guests choosing the "right" fit for them is our #1 endeavor and that is why we are always available to assist via phone or email to answer any specific questions our potential guests may have if they are concerned with an amenity option. We do have staff leave on AC's on IF it is a b/b situation and a incoming guest is coming in same day as a guest check out, as it is often "preventative" to not have them turned off in case one leaks, putters are empathetic to your experience with us and can only apologize that your visit was not as you had hoped for, and/or we had hoped for. cabin was private and secluded as listed. It,however was advertised with 1.75 baths. The cabin has one large bathroom which is a 5 piece bathroom with a tub/shower ,2 sinks and a separate shower all in the same bathroom. It has a laundry room with a toilet and a laundry room sink. This is technically a separate bathroom. Future renters should be made aware of this. I was extremely disappointed in that this was falsely advertised in the listing. I never would have rented it if this had been made known in the description of the cabin. My own home is 1.75 baths and is 2 separate rooms-one with a tub/ shower and the other bath with only a shower. I feel the owners need to relist the decription as it truly is -a 5 piece 1 bathroom and a laundry room toilet with a laundry sink -NOT 1.75 baths. This is not convenient when you have 3 people trying to use 1 bathroom. When I called NW Comfy Cabins I was told that I was the 1st persom to "complain" about this . I highly doubt this! My first experience was not a satisfactory one. The overview information sent to us was very helpful in planning our stay. The size of the cabin was nice and kitchen was nicely supplied and big enough for all of us to prepare a dinner together. One note to improve on is to react to the reviews posted I read, thinking that some of the items would be resolved. For example light bulb would be replaced. We found a number of light bulbs that needed replaced. The front porch lights were out and some of the lamps had missing or blown bulbs. There were no lights in the breakfast bar fixtures. I would provide a small ax for preparing tinder for the fire, we had some wood provided and that was nice upon arrival that we could get the fire started. Amenities were very nice and the cabin overall was very cozy. The cabin was very clean and well supplied. The driveway can be a challenge if there is ice or heavy snow because it is steep. The big screen and theater sound makes for a great movie night... The cabin is just far enough away from town but close enough if something is needed at the store.

My family of 4 including 2 kids under two had a fantastic time! The cabin was the perfect size for our family. I liked that it was small enough that I could hear the kids playing in the bedroom but big enough that we felt like we could spread out. What we really loved most was how close to town we were, maybe a five minute drive! It was so nice to be so close yet not right in town with the hustle and bustle. We try to visit Leavenworth twice a year so we hope to stay here again in the summer.

We were overall really satisfied with our stay at Bear Paw. The location was ideal, right outside of downtown Leavenworth. It's the last cabin up a short driveway set off from the main road. The back of the cabin is set against wooded area which is nice because it offers privacy. It also has a little hill next to the cabin that was perfect to do a little sledding. The hot tub had just been cleaned the day we arrived which was really nice. It seems to be maintained really well. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. There were a couple very minor things I was a little disappointed by one of which being the temperature in the room we slept in. We had the heater on and the fire going but the temperature in the room still seemed really cold. Although, the living room stayed really warm especially when there was a fire going. The lighter provided to start the fire also didn't work. Also, we started to do one of the jigsaw puzzles provided then realized it was missing pieces. Like I said, very minor things that didn't put a damper on our stay at all. We would definitely recommend staying at Bear Paw. It was a very relaxing stay for us.

My fiance and I and another couple stayed here for a weekend and had a blast. Very quiet location, close to town, and all the comforts of home. The only small complaint we had was the hot tub had a ton of bromine in it, so it was a little harsh on the skin. But it had just been serviced, so maybe something weird happened. Overall, awesome place to stay and a pain free rental experience.

The palce needs to be gone through, for plumbing issues, loose plumbing, the decking was covered with debris from trees, we had to sweep it in order to go out on the deck barefoot. The Bear Paw cabin was really cute and comfortable and the PERFECT distance from downtown Leavenworth. The inside of the cabin was very neat and tidy.
My only complaint is that while the folks at Comfy Cabins are very nice, they seem to lack a bit of communication and organizational skills. They never charged my card for the damage deposit that was clearly outlined in the contract. Normally I wouldn't complain about something like this, but if I am to adhere to their stringent contract agreements, then they should do the same. Also their response emails are a little hard to understand as they are full of spelling and grammatical errors--again, not a huge deal, just a little unprofessional. Other than those minor details we had a wonderful experience and would probably use Comfy Cabins again in the future.
