We had a great stay for NYE! Despite hwy 2 being closed, NW comfy cabins was super responsive on providing alternative routes, A+! Overall great stay, would recommend. ( just be advised that while hwy 2 is closed , the cabin is about 35-40m from Leavenworth via Plain. )

Gorgeous cabin in the woods!

Gorgeous cabin in the woods! I loved that it was secluded enough to feel private and gave us the winter wonderland feel we were imagining, but very close to the main highway to make access easy. Luckily it’s located on hwy 2 prior to the full road closure so it’s still accessible. You have to take Chumstick Hwy to get there due to the flooding and road wash out, instead of the usual Hwy 2 route, but it wasn’t that bad. The area roads were well maintained, but you do want to be mindful of having AWD/4WD vehicle as the driveway has snow all the way and other area roads can be a little icy (beginning of January). We ended up skiing at Mission Ridge Lodge instead of Steven’s Pass and we loved it. The reindeer farm nearby was a great attraction for all. When we arrived the hot tub was hot and ready to go, Christmas tree was lit, cabin was warm and cozy. It was a nice to have everything prepared for us to arrive. They had all of the amenities we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s beautiful and homey and well kept.

If you want a getaway, this is it. It’s far enough from any town.

Because of the flooding, the drive to anywhere was longer making it just too long to get anywhere easily.

3 floors, if mobility is an issue it will be a problem.

I think summer time may be a better time to come, we were there in winter.

The home, the amenities, the feel of everything was PERFECT.

Listing did show additional beds even though we only had 6 people which was the maximum for the house occupancy,

However photos showed sleeping for 11. Which was perfect as we were a Girls Trip and was beneficial as some Ladies did not want to double up with others.

When we arrived 2 beds were gone which forced 4 of us to sleep together. Which in general is fine just a couple of us do like our privacy and the luxury of sleeping in w/o disruption from another. I just wish I knew that prior to going.

The home, the amenities, the feel of everything was PERFECT.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We had the best time.

The cabin was absolutely stunning… pulling up the long windy driveway and seeing it for the first time was WOW! Inside was equally amazing, and so organized!

The pet station was adorable and welcoming to my four legged baby!! There was games and activities galore for my kids, never dull moment and they loved the games, playset and hot tub!!

But my true favorite spot was the deck, just enjoying the peaceful beautiful view at sunrise and sunset!!

Host was awesome, prior and during the trip! Would absolutely love to come again!!

A lot of airbnbs say three or four or five bedrooms which is very inaccurate some of them just have a little corner with a bed without a door and they call it a bedroom this place though it said it had four bedrooms and it was very accurate there were 4 doors that you could shut three bathrooms that were private and the whole experience at this Airbnb was amazing. The cabin is in great shape as in the photos. It’s at the end of a gravel road and has great windows. Feels rustic enough while also being comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The space was big and private enough to toss a ball around with the dogs. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. Overall would recommend this cabin to families or others looking for a quiet place to spend a few days.

Beautiful, clean cabin! Property managers were very helpful and quick to respond. There was some confusion over the amount of guests allowed. There are only a maximum of 6 guests allowed but the listing mentions additional person fees, which doesn’t really make sense when there isn’t a minimum of guests (so who would be extra if there can only be 6 people, how do they choose when to charge the additional fee?). That was just us misunderstanding. Otherwise, really great place to stay!

Beautiful log home! It was sparkling clean. The mountain view’s were very pretty. There was plenty to do at the house to relax. It was a short drive to downtown Leavenworth. There’s a diner about 5 min away. It had all the amenities and more to have a great vacation. I could see this being a great girls/guys weekend. We had 2 small pups and they had doggie waste bags, treats, bowls etc- all provided. The hot tub was great! We would definitely recommend this home. It was big enough to fit 6 of us but small enough to give a cozy vibe as well. It was perfect. 10/10

We were looking for a place with privacy, hiking nearand a short distance to Leavenworth. This was the perfect place! We got into town earlier than expected and the host allowed us to check in early. They were very responsive! The place was very clean and easy to get to. The turnoff to the cabin can be a little difficult to see at night so be careful of that. 10/10 would stay here again.

My family and I stayed here for a wedding weekend and really enjoyed the cabin. It was as described in the listing and perfect for what we needed. The view was beautiful, and it was clean and cozy with more than ample room for everyone. We had an issue with the breaker and got a prompt response from the maintenance line. My only disappointment was that the extreme heat kept me from enjoying the deck more! I would love to come back and spend more time!

We had a lovely family vacation filled with snowy adventures, peaceful quiet time, and seclusion. Lake Wenatchee State Park is quite near and gorgeous. Our kiddos had a ton of fun playing on it's beach, even in the winter. Leavenworth is a short drive as well, which is a fun trip if you haven't been. But you'll have a great time even if you simply stick to the cabin. From the yard to the hot tub, we had a blast. It's extremely family friendly and pet friendly. Our entire family, our pups included, were able to enjoy a trip together. The house is outfitted with bagates, booster seats, kids' utensils/plates, a swing set, toys, children's books/movies, and so much more. All of these thoughtful extras help make the stay here pretty seamless. Thanks for a great stay!

WOW, what a wonderful stay we had at the Bearfoot Chalet!

WOW, what a wonderful stay we had at the Bearfoot Chalet! What a beautiful log cabin home away from home! It’s a very private location, and feels rustic, but it’s actually very modern. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need for meals. Everything was sparkling clean and the beds were super comfortable. No Wi-Fi, but good cell service, so not a problem at all for us. The hot tub is awesome, we used it many times. Such a nice thing to come back to after browsing Leavenworth, which is a very easy drive. We will definitely be back, as I suspect it’s just as wonderful in the summer!

Great Weekend Getaway

Great weekend getaway near both winter and summer recreation. We had particularly crummy weather but, luckily, the house has amazing views and a hot tub! While there is no WIFI, there is LTE and the cabin came stocked with plenty of games, DVDs, and cooking equipment so it was no problem finding things to do :).

The perfect spot for us

I decided to take my two young daughters on a last minute getaway to Leavenworth and this was the perfect spot for us. We didn\'t need all the space but if I\'d taken the whole family we would have used it for sure. The hot-tub was wonderful last night after a hike and we looked forward to the sunsets on the deck. Everything was super clean and I loved the privacy.

Great stay, excellent listing with fantastic location (Leavenworth and Lake Wen. both very close). Unfortunately no fire pit, I imagine it was moved for the winter and just not put back out yet.

Great location for skiing at Stevens Pass; allows you to get a jump on traffic without having to wake up super early! Beautiful accommodations, just make sure you are ok with no wifi. Would definitely stay again!

Our family just lost my husband and needed to unplug and relax and this cabin was ideal. The beds were comfortable, the AC was cold, the scenery was AMAZING. The drive into Leavenworth was only 10-15 minutes and we were there often. We visited the Icicle Village Resort Spa, the Refuge River Rescue, and hiked several trails. And Thank you so much for allowing us to bring my daughter’s 5 year old Cattledog. She loves to hike and had a blast!
This warms our heart and we are so thrilled to hear your family was able to connect and spend some much needed time together after your loss and that the Bearfoot Chalet and our area brought some happiness and treasured memories for all.

Great getaway for our family retreat! Plenty of room for the two kids to play and privacy for the parents and grandparents. Kitchen was well stocked, great selection of toys for our toddler and lots of dvd movies, puzzles and books. The location is quiet and wooded and we enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck and looking at the stars.

My family had an amazing time staying at this beautiful cabin. It had everything we needed, it was nicely tucked back into the woods and close to all the places we wanted to visit. The small touches like kids toys and puzzles made it a really enjoyable experience. We will be back.

Exactly as advertised... has everything you need / want / expect. Quiet location, great accommodations. We were concerned about internet, cell coverage but it worked out fine (Verizon and TMobile). Cell coverage was ok for work video calls and we consistently got LTE data coverage. With a little patience, we were able to stream movies via a cell hot-spot.Lovely! Would definitely rent again!

We have rented this chalet three years in a row during the winter to take the grandkids skiing at both Leavenworth Ski Hill and Stephens Pass. The kids love the stash of toys and the adults love that each has a bedroom on a different floor. The kitchen is well stocked and the place is very clean.

We loved the bearfoot chalet! It was the perfect home for our family weekend get away. We enjoyed all the games and the cozy dining/kitchen/living room area perfect for time together. The amenities and added touches were wonderful and we were so happy we could bring our dogs. The property is gorgeous and we were close to the 59r diner, Snowmobile rentals and Leavenworth. GREAT PLACE!

My group had a great time at the Barefoot Chalet! There was plenty of room for 8 of us. The house wasn’t near others which was nice to give some privacy and the cabin is beautiful in the snow. It’s a quick drive to Leavenworth, great location.

Absolutely beautiful. Great place to escape and get away. Great location between Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth. Tucked away in the woods right up to national forest. There are homes around but you would never know because of the trees and how quite it is.

Cannot say enough about this beautiful home, and it’s location. Our 2 families and dogs had a terrific time and are already planning our return visit. Well stocked, comfortable, super clean and private location with easy access to everything we wanted to do. Loved the large deck off the front where we enjoyed our morning coffee and took in the views, also loved the opportunity to BBQ together and just hang out. The management company was super helpful in suggesting some local things to make sure we visited.

The location of the chalet was peaceful, serene and so private. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and privacy the home offered our combined families. The children loved the downstairs TV area, outside play structure and playing in nature. The hot tub, board games, BBQ, and ability to cook meals together was perfect for the grownups-we laughed and enjoyed playing some of the games we had played as children, and sitting under the night sky with the stars lighting up the night sky was magical. Visiting Leavenworth was a breeze too-it was a short drive from the cabin and boy is that drive beautiful. Be sure to stop at •The ALPS• Store on your way down. We had an amazing dinner at the Bavarian Bistro and had delicious ice cream at the Whistlepunk Ice Cream store (homemade waffle cones) We are already planning our next stay at the Bearfoot Chalet! Thank you NW Comfy Cabins for providing this home for families like ours to meet in the middle of where we live and spend some much needed time together. It was memorable and much needed. Can’t wait to come back!
