FOR WINTER GUESTS: Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD vehicle with traction tires are necessary. We highly recommend carrying chains for all vehicles.

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

We had a great time at this cabin the week before Christmas! They had a Christmas tree and some decorations up that made it magical to walk into. The cabin is in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of trails and you can walk down to the river. It would be great in the summertime! There is a little general store nearby which was great for little things we forgot and they even had diapers when we ran out on the last day. But other than that, the closest store was Leavenworth which is about 25 minutes away through a windy mountain road. The cabin was also stocked with plenty of spices and a few staples like olive oil and flour. It was a great layout for our group of 4 and a baby and a dog. Very private, tucked at the end of a road with the forest behind it so we weren’t worried about having our dog outside to play. Bedrooms were huge and gorgeous and beds were comfortable! Hot tub and sauna were a total extra bonus!

Cabin living, forest views and great homebase

Our recent stay provided a great home base for our trip to the area. We hiked, played at Lake Wenatchee State Park, and even went fishing at Fish Lake. The short drive to these activities was a bonus, we ventured into the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth too for a day just about 20 minutes away. We loved getting coffees at the local store called Plain Hardware (not your typical hardware store) and strolled right out the backyard into the trail system to explore. The sauna was a fun addition. Definitely recommend for those seeking a true cabin experience.
