Great little cabin

Great little cabin with everything we needed to have a short vacation. Plenty of space for family of 4 and dog. Cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals including coffee maker, Keurig, insta pot, britta's, and ice maker. Kitchen area is fairly small, but functional. Hot tub was awesome and was well taken care of. Very nice to sit in to relax morning and night. House stayed warm with the electric heat, but fireplace was nice addition. Wood was available at plain grocery, but make sure to grab some kindling and fire starter material. Bedrooms and bedding were sufficient, and the upper room has a great view of river. Wi-Fi worked great for phones, music and movies. Cabin does not have a dishwasher as stated in listing. This would be a nice addition if they could fit. Overall great experience.

Cute cabin, clean and well maintained. We loved the river and snow. Thankful the driveway was taken care if as there was over 3 inches of snow when we were there. Easy check in and responsive management. The cabin gets VERY warm. Bring light clothes for sleeping or be prepared to sweat. Still worth it!

The cabin was a wonderfully peaceful haven for our anniversary trip. We loved the scenic view of the river, the quiet neighborhood, the splendid hot tub, and the Christmas decor. The house is clean and easy to use. We did not stay long enough to use the kitchen as we drove back and forth to Leavenworth each day (30 minute trip). Our sole recommendation for improvement is to have more kindling or a hatchet as the wood stove is hard to use without small starter pieces of wood. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Simply perfect in every way!

Cabiny vibe right on the river! Excellent amenities; we did not want for anything. We loved the decor, spaciousness and how private our getaway felt, nestled between trees, so peaceful. If you are looking to stay in, as we ended up doing, there is a plethora of entertainment options: hot tub, board games, channels galore and a wood-burning fireplace. Love, lOvE, LOVE!

Another Amazing Stay

This is the second time we\'ve stayed at this cabin and once again it made for an awesome mini-vacation. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere with the river just yards away from the porch. The check in process was quick and easy, communication with the owners was fantastic and overall the stay was amazing (again)! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a few days of relaxation in the wilderness.

This was our second time staying at this sweet little A-Frame on the river. You can\'t beat the location; it\'s quiet, woodsy, and we love the sound of the rushing river just outside. Relaxing Cabin Vacation

This cabin was the perfect size for all of us. We had our own space, could all gather for dinner, and we all gathered on the couch to watch MLB playoffs. The sound of the river was hypnotizing, especially while relaxing in the hot tub. Very rejuvenating for those having to go back to work on Monday.

Amazing place to stay! That’s an understatement, the view and privacy is all we needed. We woke up today wishing and praying we had a week long stay. The worst part of the stay is leaving. The jacuzzi overlooking the river ?, the hometown vide and local vendors were so nice and conveniently located down the road and only a few minutes into town. This location is in Plain WA and only a few minutes drive to Leavenworth. If I had to pick what city I like best between the two I’d pick Plain. So relaxing and quiet! Thanks for the stay, we are looking forward to our next visit!!!!!!

What a lovely little getaway. We immediately wished we\'d booked it for longer than 3 nights. The house is cute and the location was EXACTLY what I was wanting: a quiet spot on the lovely river. It was peaceful, and relaxing, and the house had everything we needed including family board games and a propane firepit so we could still roast s\'mores (since we couldn\'t use the firepit due to the burn ban). I have already told several friends about this cabin and we will definitely return. NW Comfy Cabins was a great property manager: making check-in a breeze. They were quick to respond to any questions. Plus their site made reservations in Leavenworth a snap.

This property is beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s a river at the edge of the yard, the setting feels so private and lovely. Plus the cabin was decorated for Christmas and felt very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the amount of space, vintage art and sweet touches - like extra towels for the hot tub and red and black flannel pillows and blankets. The little details made it feel cozy and comfortable. The river is close and you can hear it from the house (with door cracked open) and it was wonderful being able to have our pup along. A few thing I wish I had known. The cabin is definitely in a housing development with neighbors on all sides and the bed upstairs was so saggy that neither one of us could sleep for more than 10-20 minutes without rolling toward the center - or feeling our head sink toward the head of the bed. About 1 am we went downstairs to the first-floor bedroom to sleep and that was a much better mattress. Also, the wood burning stove is nice, but it’s almost in a hallway so you can’t really sit in front of it when you are on the living room couch. We booked a nice dinner at Wildflour and that experience was the highlight of the trip. Get a reservation and go hiking nearby! This property is managed by NW Cozy Cabins and they seem to do a great job

Oh my goodness, we are so glad to hear you ate at the local Wildflour restaurant at Kahler Glen Golf Course, it is our favorite!!! We are also so thrilled you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. We have passed on your feedback to the owners regarding the mattress as this is the first anyone has mentioned it but either way it does not fall on deaf ears as we want everyone's visit to be as comfy as possible. We do manage over 50 other properties so if you are looking for a more remote spot next time be sure to ask us to assist in suggestions as we are always happy to do so and we have a diverse inventory of options for everyone.

Was everything we saw online and more. My sister in law was visiting us in WA and we wanted a place that was secluded yet had wifi (had to do some work online) and was close enough to restaurants and shops (Leavenworth). Plus, we love the sound of a river when we tent camped in our younger days and this Chalet has that too! Not to mention being pet friendly so that we didnt have to leave our dog with friends. The beds were comfortable and the Chalet had all the amenities we could have ever wanted (including a hot tub and grill on the deck). This is a very comfy and clean cabin with all the amenities needed for a nice getaway for friends or family. The river is really roaring so there was no dipping in there but enjoyed with our eyes and ears only. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the river in the morning with a mug of coffee was wonderful. The downside was all the mosquitos. As soon as we opened the car door that first night, mosquitos swarmed us. There were even mosquitos inside the cabin throughout our stay where we all ended up with lots of bites that itched like crazy. The constant look-out of mosquitos inside the cabin, and afraid of being bitten, detracted from the relaxation.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay, so sorry about the mosquitos as they were a little unseasonably late disappearing this year. OFF DEEP WOODS is the best to keep the little stinkers away.

The office staff was amazing!! I needed to talk to them prior to leaving due to an emergency and they were so nice and accommodating. I also needed to stay an extra night due to pass being closed and they gave me a discount. Thank you!!!

only complaint was that the kitchen had coffee grounds on teh counter and the table had a runner on it with crumbs and a stain of jam or something. We disinfected the kitchen and washed dishes and it was fine. The owners may want to update the kitchen pots and pans, dishes, cups, etc. and clean out the cabinets. The refrigerator was very clean.

I enjoyed my stay here. It wasn't as nice or spacious as the Otter Chalet but still very cozy. The foozeball table would be fun to play if there was an actual ball. Also, once again, the neighbors tended to be slightly disruptive to the privacy of my stay which was a minor issue at the last cabin but overall it was a good experience. I would recommend it. It is much more affordable than a lot of the other alternatives. The management reps are as always, very friendly and professional.

We needed a break from our house, but did not want to take a long drive, we have a new pup and she is just getting use to car rides. My daughter in law has used Comfy Cabins in the past so I thought I would give them a try. Glad we did. The house was clean and had sanitizing items in the house to use. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals for 4 people for a week. The house had a nice layout for 2 adults and 2 kids and of course Boots. The kids like the loft area and enjoyed sitting out on the “deck” when they were reading. I really liked the room upstairs, I slept with the sliding door open so I could hear the river at night. The boys were excited to find a video game set up to use. I have no idea what system it was, but they enjoyed having video games to play. It was nice they had that for “down” time. We found plenty of games to play. I was also happy with the dog lead that was in the yard. We could put Boots on it and be comfortable that she would not run away. She loves water so we were concerned that she would run into the river. The hot tub as a big hit and was used at least 2xs a day. We did appreciate that there were some mosquito repellent items at the cabin. I brought some of my own, so we had plenty we bought some to replace what we used. Make sure you have repellent there are lots of mosquitos, not any one’s fault it just is what it is. We used candles, spray, and even a tiki torch style light. I loved that there was a propane fueled fire pit. Much safer than lighting a fire in a pit. The kids made smores every night and it was so easy to light the fire pit and put it out when we did not need it. Easy to refill the propane just took the canister to Plain, we used a lot of the fuel one night. It was a much needed get away from out house, I sent photos to friends and would recommend the house to anyone. The river was too cold for us to get in, but the dog loved it.

Absolutely a 5/5 property. When we arrived and immediately saw the proximity to the river, we were so excited to be able to enjoy this lovely cabin RIGHT along the river. The house itself has everything you need and is so cute! We lost power one night in the cabin due to a thunderstorm but the house had all the equipment necessary for us to still get some light and we honestly just soaked in the night under candlelight from the cabin. We cannot keep talking about when we want to come back. Perfect for the spring, summer, the fall with the foliage would be absolutely stunning and I cannot even imagine how beautiful it is in winter here, too! Definitely recommend this property!

As soon as we pulled up we were all very excited we didn’t just get a hotel in town. Looking around the place I was pleasantly surprised at how much stuff they offer such as body washes even make up remover towelettes and all the dishes and cooking utensils were very useful. All of us ladies had a well deserved weekend away with all of th conveniences of home. Cabin was lovely and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing time. Management was amazing and helped us locate lawn furniture and the trash bin. Super great location! This is our 2nd time renting from NWCC, we will be back!!

My wife and I (and the kids when we’re forced to take them with us) travel fairly frequently. Given that we roll 6 deep when in full force we often rent houses far more often than we stay in hotels.
Further, given Chiwawa’s proximity to our home we’ve actually after here a couple of times now. We absolutely love love it. It’s close to skiing and Leavenworth making it a perfect getaway anytime of year. There’s plenty of sleeping spaces for our large family, the kids love having their own space (generally claiming the upstairs as theirs) and the adults staying downstairs.
Keeping a nice fire going keeps the place plenty warm, sitting inside or outside in the hot tub and listening to the river after a day at Stevens is Instagram worthy for sure. The house is well stocked and appointed which is a big deal and not as normal as you might expect when renting houses.
We love this place and will continue to return.

This was a great house. Easy access and we were able to park our snowmobile trailer in from of the garage which makes its so covenant. And as always NW Comfy was VERY accommodating.

What a great cabin. Awesome location from Stevens Pass and Leavenworth. Views of the river are wonderful.(especially from the hot tub) We really enjoyed our stay in this winter wonderland and look forward to returning in the summer!

This property gave me and my wife one of the most enjoyable weekends we have ever experienced here in the PNW. The Chalet was thee perfect distance to be away from it all yet close to everything. Within ten minutes there's an amazing restaurant, which had excellent breakfast and smoked brisket. There is tons of stuff in the Valley of plain to get out and see, very beautiful country offering all kinds of outdoor activities. If your not into that sort of thing or just looking for a relaxing slow paced stay like my wife and i this place is perfect. The peaceful sound of the river passing through the backyard while we sat in the hot tub was like nothing else. The kitchen and dining area is laid out really well and the wood stove kept the home nice and toasty. The living room was laid out nicely and made for the perfect setting to enjoy a few movies and bowls of popcorn. We had a excellent experience and cant wait to go back. The service and support for getting our reservation setup was handled with the highest regard to making our trip the best it could be and one of a kind. We cant wait to go back and hope to do it all over again real soon.
