Great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the time there and the space worked well for our group. Accommodations were very comfortable and the hosts went the extra mile to put up some Christmas decorations and made sure propane was on site for the fire pit. Would highly recommend!

Great place for a family!

It was my mother’s 74th birthday and she’s always wanted to come up and see the area. We lived in Germany for 5 years and she had always said since she can’t go back, maybe we can go see Leavenworth. Went and spent the afternoon at Lake Wenatchee and enjoyed the clear night sky each night. The house was big, comfy and all is said it was! Thank you for the prompt responses on questions we had. The home was perfect in every way

The home was perfect in every way, location, size, comfort level, it has everything!  We were there for 6 days and didn’t want for a thing while we were there, everything is provided with extras so we were able to pack really just clothes for a 6 day vacation with our 5 year old granddaughter.  The owners were not intrusive in any way and the property was plenty to fly planes and kites, barbequed and made smores in the fire pit.  Town was only 20 minutes and the local General store, 5 minutes, the State Part beach, 10 minutes, so the location was just as perfect as the home.

 

I can’t even express how completely satisfied we were with this home and how it made the absolute perfect vacation home.  I hope the owners get this review, thank them for us, and feel free to post it, others should know about this place.

Exactly what I needed

The farm house was beautiful. It was exactly what I needed to escape Seattle. I live in a pretty busy neighborhood, this was quite the opposite. My dogs loved the large yard and taking naps on both the front and back porch. There was a grill that I used every night as well as a gas fire pit which was cozy. The interior was much more space than I needed but the dogs loved it. Everything was neat and tidy and there was ample space to spread out on the main level. I ate on the back porch dining table every night and got some remote work done on the front porch in the mornings. The town was cute, there is a main strip with a cafe, hardware store, and grocery. The day I was there was pretty busy because there was a motorcycle convention, but it was cool. There was also a Saturday famers market with local crafts and fresh baked goods-- this was a nice surprise. We drove to Leavenworth, which was about 20 mins and then Wenatchee which was about an hour. Overall amazing place to stay!

Great location with easy access to everything!

We had a great time at our stay. Easy access to Stevens Pass resort and nordic center. Awesome new restaurant called Wildflour right by Lake Wanatchee less than 10 min from the house. We went there for brunch and dinner! We enjoyed XC skiing and snowshoeing at the lake less than 10 min from the house. Also, really convenient access to Leavenworth. Great hosts and great communication. We will definitely be coming back again.
