We really enjoyed our stay and all of the dog friendly accommodations! The space was very clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated that there was a water bowl, crates of multiple sizes and even a spare leash for the dogs. The house is about 20 minutes from downtown Leavenworth and it was very easy to navigate to.

Anyplace that has Johnny’s seasoning is a 5 star rating for me. The cabin was great! We brought our toddler and dog. The fenced in yard is so nice and the hot tub was perfect. Wish the kitchen was a little more stocked with tin foil etc but I was able to cook and get the job done. Definitely will be coming back again in summertime to enjoy this spot. Close enough to Leavenworth that we drove in but out in the country enough it feels peaceful.

This was an excellent first Airbnb experience! NW comfy cabins was amazing to communicate with. I had to change some information on our reservation the morning of as we were driving to our destination and they responded swiftly accommodating the changes made. The cabin was clean, spacious and cozy; instruction were clear and the hot tub was excellent to relax in after a day of walking around Leavenworth! Also just a couple minutes from the 59'ner Diner which I highly recommend. Thank you for a great, easy stay!

Our family had a great time at Paws in the mountains! We loved the peaceful setting and how it was close enough to Leavenworth, but outside of the town. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 4 plus our dog! We will definitely be staying at Paws again.

We loved our stay at Paws in the Mountain. It had everything we, and our pups, needed for an enjoyable and comfy stay. We really appreciated the notes as to which hikes/restaurants are dog friendly - that was a huge help! The pups loved having a backyard to destress in after a long day (lots of zoomies) and it was nice to give them a space to be off-leash for a bit We loved the cabin decorations online and were pleasantly surprised by the heated flooring in the bathroom! We definitely will be coming back and recommending the cabin to other friends/family.

We were really impressed with this host and house! By far the best Airbnb we have had over the years. Host was super communicative and responsive. The house was spotless - it even had amenities for our pups! The fenced in yard was really large and it was great being able to let our pups run around back there. Great cozy cabin near Leavenworth. Backyard was bigger than expected which our dog loved. All the amenities for a relaxing vacation! Only negative was that a neighboring private cabin was hosting an event with live music until midnight on Saturday night. Music was nice but made it difficult to sleep. Bring bottled water and mosquito spray.

The cabin was very clean - especially given it is a dog-friendly cabin. Kitchen was well equipped - enough to make a Thanksgiving dinner! I had an issue the fire place (operator error) and the property manager got back to me right away - on Thanksgiving! Loved our stay!

There was something for everyone to enjoy during our stay here. The kids played games, watched some tv, and played in the yard. We love being able to have the option to cook if we want to. We used our time here to cook thanksgiving dinner to bring with us on our next adventure. Beautiful, thoughtfully laid out and stocked home. Loved the fireplace, heated bathroom floors, well stocked kitchen, and the canine theme. The hot tub is great. The pups loved playing in the backyard. I worked from the dining room table, WiFi was great. Easy drive to Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth. Squirrel Tree restaurant is minutes away and yummy.

I chose this cabin for it's hot tub and the fact that it is dog friendly. I hadn't even realize how dog friendly it was when I booked it. Very cute dog themed decor throughout and sweet little touches like providing dog beds and bowls. I was also surprised to find it decorated for Christmas, complete with tree, which was so magical. Directions provided were great, and having a code to get in instead of needing to pick up a key was extremely convenient. The backyard was beautiful and backed up to a treed area. We wanted to visit Leavenworth for the snow and natural scenery, but if we were more interested in the town, this probably would not be the best option. The only negatives I could see would be in the master bedroom... The window in the bathroom looked like it had curtains at one point, but no longer did, so getting out of the shower with the window right there was a little uncomfortable and the master bedroom had a noticable dog smell that was not present in the rest of the house, but we're dog people and it wasn't a problem for us.

It was perfect for being my dog with its fully fenced yard! My only issue was I think they should provide citronella candles for the back, the mosquitos are terrible. So make sure to bring repellant spray and the water has a funny taste/smell due to bring a septic system which is normal I just suggest bringing bottled water! Regardless of those couple things we had a great time, it was peaceful and relaxing! Thanks!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at "Paws in the Mountains". We were a family of 6 (Mom, Dad, two tweenagers, a toddler and our pup). The location was perfect for us as half of us were skiing. We could be dropped off in the morning at Stevens and the rest of the family was able to explore Leavenworth before picking us up. The home is lovely. The rental was clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the open floor plan - we could keep an eye on the kids from upstairs as well as from the hot tub :). We also really appreciated the fenced in back yard for our pup.

My husband and I with our dog stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect stay. We were celebrating our babymoon so we were looking for relaxing and peaceful and that’s what we got. The house is really well maintained and clean! We had a small issue with the fireplace and they sent someone within the hour to fix it, I couldn’t believe it. That is top notch customer service! The kitchen was also well stocked so we could cook there but the drive into town was not bad at all, a quick scenic drive. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin!

Our only (less than favorable) comment would be the check out “procedures” (requests) posted, and/or emailed, requesting us to wash towels, do dishes, and take out the trash... considering there was already an “adequate” cleaning fee tacked onto the price of our stay.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that you interpreted the check out guidelines as necessary work. We only require that dishes are loaded in the dishwasher and the machine started, and place garbage in the garbage can. If you are so inclined to throw used towels into the machine and hit 'start' that is very helpful but in no way required. We are more than happy to do all the cleaning for you so that your time is enjoyed in all of the wonderful ways you hope spent your valuable vacation time. I hope that the beautiful cabin and the amazing Lake Wenatchee area made for a special and relaxing getaway. Everything was good except for the fact that we heard noises, a lady talking several times, and a weird flash of light in the hallway. On our behalf we think this cabin is haunted... may want to look into getting the place blessed. It disturbed us for 2/3 nights.

Maika, thank you for your creative and imaginative thoughts on this beautiful cabin. The sounds you heard are a pump that filters water which is located by the bedroom, in the closet on the main floor. That cycle has been changed so that it does not operate at night any longer. The bulb that 'flashed' was burned out and has been replaced so I do not believe and flashed of light will occur again. Thank you for taking the time to share and I hope you will consider us again one day. We would love to have you back any time.
