Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is ice/snow on the ground and a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended.
While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

by NeysaOur group had an excellent stay at the cabin. We enjoyed going into Plain and Leavenworth for Nordic skiing, hiking and sightseeing. We liked how peaceful the neighborhood was. It was fun watching wild turkeys walk through the backyard. We cooked most of our meals at home and the kitchen was very comfortable. The instructions provided were clear and the hosts were responsive. There were a couple of funky things with construction, like doors without trim and exposed drywall, but this did not impact our stay-just wanted to mention it in case aesthetics like that really impact another guest’s impression. We would absolutely stay here again.

There was a snow storm on the way there. The road crew did an amazing job keeping the roads clear and drivable. The house was easily accessible.
There were 2 power outages that only lasted about 10 min. There were several battery powered lamps throughout the house so it wasn't completely dark.
It was an incredible experience even with the snow storm and power outages.
With the location and time of year these things should be expected.
The host was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place.

It's exactly as pictured and described and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. We really appreciated the great hot tub, grill, new appliances, fast wifi, peaceful setting, and proximity to Lake Wenatchee.

The cabin is well-stocked with board games, grilling accessories, and kitchen dishes. It was super-clean and we felt right at home. Super-close to Lake Wenatchee and other trails. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Wenatchee or nearby areas.
