We had a great time staying here. The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs to run around and enjoy the peace and quiet of the nature. There was a river right across we could walk to and enjoyed that was another activity we could do with our dogs. The house was clean and felt like home. This is a wonderful place for family, including toddlers and dogs. Very big fully fenced in yard, with pickle ball court, so much for everyone to do. Fantastic place just outside of Leavenworth! Perfect for families, we stayed with our three kids and two dogs and had more than enough space. Positive: Home has so many things to do, you can stay home and relax. House is magnificent, clean, inviting and well stocked on all essentials. Definitely makes you feel at home. Negative: Kitchen utensils in holder on counter are old and perished and could do with replacement. Otherwise it's an amazing kitchen, with new, appliances and a dream to cook in.

Great Weekend Getaway

Looking for a relaxing long weekend in the mountains, a couple friends and I booked this cabin. Amenities galore, clean throughout, and great location. The cabin photos are accurate, all the systems (including the hot tub) were working, and the location near the river was even closer than we thought thanks to a trail that leads from the front of the property down to the river's edge. The management company was very friendly and easy to work with. Don't hesitate and book this cabin!

The stay was great when we were there. We had a combination 3 day of golf and 3 days of plays in Leavenworth for our group. The time of travel was more than we anticipated, and for that reason we will look for a place with a little less travel time to Leavenworth next year. Everything We Were Hoping For!

With only a couple nights we didn\'t have time to explore all the amenities, but this was the perfect weekend recharge spot. Everything about this house is just as pictured. We've been disappointed in the past with fences that aren't quite as full as they look, or close neighbors not visible in pictures, but not so here! It was absolutely everything we were hoping for, and NW Comfy Cabins was as wonderful to work with as always.

This is truly an awesome place for a group of friends to share intimate time together. All amenities are well maintained and works perfectly. Even though there were wild fire burning smells and smokes, there’re enough things (board games and home theater) to do indoors so we were not bored at all. Our dog (and his humans too) really enjoys the fully fenced yard. Would definitely come back and stay longer next time!

The home is exactly as it looks online. The property was wonderful for my kids and our fur bawas able to come too, which is always a win. There was more than enough to do, even for my 4 active children. Pickle ball was definitely a highlight. We found ourselves playing for hours and laughing the whole time. The detached movie theater was awesome to let us zone out or to send the kids over so the parents could enjoy a quiet drink on the back deck lol. There is even river access across the road. Plain is only a few minutes away and we enjoyed all 3 of the shops/restaurants that it has to offer. We even ventured into Leavenworth one day. This place was perfect, and I don’t use that word lightly. ????

Just what our family needed!

Life is crazy at times. Having 4 kids, we always struggle juggling everything. We needed a week to just breathe, and this vacation home allowed us to do just that. Being dog friendly also, we were able to bring our fur baby, which made it even that much better for all of us. The location is remote but still has access to internet and cable, if you want that. There are plenty of activities that the owner’s have included. The pickle ball court was a great memory maker for us. Our kiddos are younger but apparently very competitive lol The detached garage was a great place to send everyone when they wanted to cool down. We got a few games of ping pong in too, which was an added bonus. We’ve stayed in some places that were pet friendly, and you could tell. We followed the rules about bringing blankets for the furniture and a bed for her to sleep on. The furniture was great and didn’t show any “pet” signs. The grounds our wonderful! A completely fenced off area was great to just let the pup roam. The horseshoe pit was great for the older kids and the hammock was great for the adults. With access to the river just across the street, this place really allowed us to recenter and recharge…. See what I did there?! Lol We also ventured into Leavenworth 2 separate days and got ice cream at the Plain grocery store often. The Plain hardware store is so cute and has some great finds. The restaurant is really good too. The owner was there and was super friendly. We will definitely be back next summer and look forward to creating even more memories!

Relaxing Vacation

We loved the home. The fireplace was beautiful. We used it daily. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We cooked/bbq the whole time we were there. The beds were comfortable. The home had plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the outdoor space with our dogs. They had plenty of room to run and play. We would have used the outside more but we were attacked mosquitoes morning to night. We put bug repellent on but maybe we needed to try another brand. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but the bugs were pretty intense. We liked the theater room but wish it was attached to the house. We didn’t use it much. They have games to play. The only other thing I wish we had access to the river. I thought there was access right across the street, but there are signs “no trespassing.” Overall it was a very relaxing stay. It’s nice to have a home to stay in rather than a hotel. Management got right back to us when we encountered problems.

Super beautiful home nestled in the mountains next to the Wenatchee River. Excellent winter getaway with a fun Hot tub in the snow and small sledding on/next to property for kids. Well stocked kitchen to bake cookies or a stay in meal. Beds were comfortable and entertainment options were nice. No Cell service for AT&T so be sure to take a screenshot of the access codes. Defintely going to return.

We had so much fun at Recharge the River! That's exactly what we did! We played Pickle Ball, Basketball, Scattergories, danced around the fire pit (before 10pm of course) watched a movie, and had so much fun spending time together as a family with our dogs. We love Leavenworth, but didn't want to leave the property because we were happy being there at the house! The weather was perfect and the river is beautiful. The home was clean and well-kept. We had a great time staying here. The house is very nice, updated, with lots of room. This is an especially nice place for families, as there are so many things to do, for both kids and adults alike. The river across the street has a beautiful view. It is not too far from Plain so,, if you need to run to pick up a few things from the store,, or get some takeout from the local Cafe, you don't have a long drive back into Leavenworth. We had such a lovely time!

Really enjoyed our stay at Recharge the River with our family. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We thought is was kind of odd to not have a TV in the main house, but it was actually a very nice omission. We talked, played different games, went out in the snow and for walks. The first day the key lock was inoperable on the media room, but the maintenance guys were on the property first thing the next morning and had it fixed in 10 minutes (dead batteries). We would love to go back during the summer!

It had a huge yard for the kids and doggy to enjoy the snow, the hot tub had beautiful views while still feeling private, the beds were super comfortable, the movie theater was AMAZING... overall this is likely our new favorite cabin of all time and we DEFINITELY want to come back!

We had originally planned a family vacation but co-vid put a damper on all of us getting together. But half of us made it and the place is everything it says it is. Our dog loved the huge fenced yard. No boredom staying in this place...between the movies, sports court, ping-pong - too much to list it all.

The house itself was beautiful with a full wrap around deck.The home is on a couple of acres with a hammock perfect for napping in. From the kitchen to the bathrooms they have thought of everything. We've stayed in quite a few vacation rentals and this was definitely one of the best furnished/stocked homes. Whatever you could dream up to cook..they had what you needed to do it..along with a nice spice assortment. They didn't scrimp on the bedding or towels either...very comfortable. There is even a separate "shed" with a TV and reclining chairs and popcorn machine..total movie theater vibe. We never used it but peaked in to check it out. The kids loved the horse shoes and the pickleball/basketball court. We would stay here again and for more nights...we didn't get to utilize half what this stellar house had to offer.

We absolutely loved this cabin home so much! It is situated in a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy thr fire while watching and listening to the river rush by. Our family had so much fun we extended our stay 2x! Our kids loved the Pickle Ball Court, Ping Pong and most especially the theater room, oh my!!!The beautiful layout of this cabin is just as cozy as can be and of course the hot tub while star gazing!Fur babies are welcome here and the fantastic part is the fully fenced yard, perfection!Last but not least, the hammock!! Blissful swaying while staring at the pine trees.

The house was lovely and peaceful. Our issue is with the character concerns for NW Comfy Cabins. Their letter to us: "...there were multiple dog urine stains on the carpet the Christmas tree (my female dogs do NOT mark their territory and lift a leg to pee on anything inside or out), a dog feces stain on the large area rug (the dogs never went #2 in the home- this I know for a fact as I would have been the one to clean it), a wet and freshly marked area of dog urine on the couch (it wasn’t feces on the couch, it was dirt from the muddy/snowy backyard. There was a family of raccoons outside so our dogs were scared to go outside unless we were with them. Raccoons carry rabies so it was not very relaxing for us. It was wet because I used their spot cleaner to remove it prior to checking out) and hard word floors (I filled up water bottles using ice that fell to the hardwood floor and melted. Our pets don’t pee on hardwood floors). There was also stuffing and chew holes in some “rock” throw pillows along with a dog tooth found on the carpet as well as a hole in the wall where it appears a toy was thrown into it. (This statement was very unsettling to me- how would they know a TOY made a dent in the wall? More on this below. Cheap pillows most likely used on the ground with our teenagers leaning on them. This is marketed as a family friendly home. The pillows were already starting to unravel at the seams. Regarding the dog tooth, this worried us and the racoons reminded me to get their rabies vaccine renewed so I took them to the vet- there are no teeth missing from either of my pets.) To summarize a few key points possible hidden cameras inside their properties concern me- the carpet is dingy and looks dirty upon arrival. First thought stepping inside, it doesn’t look like the VRBO pics. I researched this company after I was unsettled on the ‘toy hit the wall’ comment and found TWO reviews where past recent travelers

We booked this property for a get-away for ourselves and 4 friends (3 couples total). It was awesome! We could walk out the front door and go on some cool runs and go play in the river. Short drives away were more cool runs and hikes and places to go on the river. We did a float down the river one day and had a blast. The ability to jump into the hot tub after any activity was a great addition-- especially after being in the river for a bit. The Pickle-Ball court was an bonus we didn't think we would enjoy as much as we did. We thoroughly enjoyed it and had several afternoon competitions-- singles and doubles... with and without gin and tonic. In the evenings we'd group cook dinner in a well stocked and luxurious kitchen and follow that up with a movie in the Theater! We will definitely be back again.
Thank you for taking the time to share. This vacation cabin is the 'full package' to say the least and we know that the owners are happy to share so many wonderful ways to experience time at the cabin and ithis amazing area, making a very special oasis for all guests who come here. We rented this place for a week based on a rec from a friend. It’s not your typical VRBO. First, we have an electric car, and it has a charger, making it a spectacular find for our family. In general, it has a very spacious interior, a very well-stocked kitchen, huge fenced yard, it had a secluded feel. We were surprised at how much space there was and how nice the home is- looks brand new! Very well taken care of. There’s a great swim spot that’s less than a hundred yards from the hot tub. I swam with the dog several times a day in the swimming hole. All the swims ended with a short walk to the hot tub. The fenced yard meant we didn’t need to worry about the dog getting loose when we were hanging out with him outside. There’s a ten-foot-high rock you can jump off into deep water four miles upstream. We jumped off the rock a bunch of times, swam around for a while, and then tubed down to the house in some inner tubes we borrowed from a friend. (Then we warmed up in the hot tub).We played lots of pickleball. Shockingly fun. We had to look up the rules, but it’s a simple game and lots of quality family time. One of the best things is the movie theater out back of the house. It’s air conditioned, with recliner seats. Reminds me of iPIC. I liked that there was only a small TV in the main house; we didn’t watch much TV. But we would watch a movie every night on the big screen. Nice idea to keep them separate- more quality with less quantity. Great place, it’s pretty luxurious yet close to wilderness. Definitely going to try this place for a ski week at Stevens Pass.

We had a Great time and had a “Recharge “”. The house is lovely and we made ourselves at home. Even our dog “Bilbo Baggins” enjoyed himself. We recommend anyone wishing to have fun and a relaxing vacation to stay here. Gene had a great time rafting down the river. If anyone wants a relaxing and a fun time; this is the place to stay.

We had a fabulous time with my teenage daughter and her friend + the grandparents. We never left the property, except to walk up about 1/2 a mile to drop our tubes in and zip down the rapids back to the house. My daughter and her friend never asked for their phones or computers- they were either playing pickleball, ping-pong, or hanging out the river. My husband rafted and ran the dog every day while I paddle-boarded on the river and did yoga on the sport court. My mom and dad sat on the porch with Soduko and joined in on the pickleball. This was the best family vacation we have ever had. Also a huge bonus to have the movie theatre/rec room! It was a great space for the two girls to escape to and for us all to participate in a family movie at night with popcorn. The surrounding property and all the indoor options to play or seek privacy were perfect for us. My only suggestion is to get more towels (LOL). Between the hot tub and the awesome showers and the river- we were always wet and always looking for more towels. Looking forward to the next time we go!
I could not agree with you more. The Recharge the River has it all and does not disappoint. There is a full size dryer on site so if you do find yourself short on towels because of all the many options for water play, you can pop them in for a quick dry. I hope you rally the troops and come on back soon.

This place is nothing short of magical. Not only did we have room for everyone in total comfort and so many things to do that we need to come back now just to enjoy other things besides the home. We planned on going into town and exploring but we could never pull ourselves away from the cabin. We’re all very excited to come back for a next day.
Thank you so much. This cabin is truly packed with so many things to do and so much opportunity for making exceptional memories and enjoying long weekends or full on summer vacations. It is a really fantastic location and place to stay, we are so happy you enjoyed it so much.
