This driveway is easily accessible spring/summer/fall and there are no vehicle restrictions however, winter guests please note below:
FOR WINTER GUESTS: Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD vehicle with traction tires are necessary. We highly recommend carrying chains for all vehicles.
While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

Idyllic, peaceful retreat
by JulieRiver Heights is an idyllic, peaceful retreat very close to a the sweet town of Leavenworth.
Nestled among the mountain hills, in December mist and low clouds almost always present making the space feel like a secret.
Hearing the river the entire time was enjoyable for the senses. The interior is more spacious than it appears in the photos.
Warm tones, heated floors, large windows sharing views over the valley/river, numerous fireplaces, wood beams and interior are a feast for the eyes as you settle in.
This is a great place for 2 families or a handful of couples looking to spend time in the area, with huge kitchen and entertaining space.
We all loved it and would highly recommend it as a cabin getaway destination.

Some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever had. I hope we come back someday. The house is very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied so we could cook at home. Very conveniently located for downtown Leavenworth, and a Safeway a short 8 minute drive.

More importantly, it was all about that view- and the lovely, tiered outside space. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Definitely one of our most memorable short term rentals!! We were a little taken aback by the neighboring property signs upon entering the private drive - but it turned out to be fine. Be aware of train crossing on same drive - passenger train can be fast approaching.
