Riverwood Lodge
Embrace the serenity of Riverwood Lodge (Permit #000218), an exquisite retreat just outside of Plain that rests on a spacious lot along the tranquil Wenatchee River. Boasting a private hot tub and excellent WIFI for streaming or remote work, this enchanting home features 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, accommodating up to 12 guests. A haven of relaxation, it provides a perfect blend of comfort and recreation.
The main floor welcomes you with a full bathroom and a private bedroom featuring a queen bed. Across the dining room, a separate entrance leads to the 2nd bedroom, an ensuite oasis with a queen bed, washer/dryer, and an additional "living space" for added privacy. For extra guests, feel free to bring a queen blow-up mattress to enhance this space. Ascending from the main living room, the upper level offers the 3rd bedroom with a king bed and a private soaking tub, the 4th bedroom with two twin beds, and the 5th bedroom with a double bed. Another full bathroom completes the upstairs accommodations.
The lodge exudes warmth with cozy fireplaces and inviting lodge-inspired furniture, creating a special charm for your getaway. The fully equipped kitchen ensures the chef in the group can prepare delicious home-cooked meals. The garage has been transformed into a Game Room, featuring Air Hockey and Foosball for some friendly family competition.
Step onto the expansive decks that overlook the sprawling yard and riverfront views. Sip your morning coffee, observe local deer meandering by, and plan your day—whether it's exploring local hikes, fishing at Fish Lake, or heading to the charming Village of Leavenworth for shopping, dining, or one of the annual festivals.

There are no vehicle restrictions on vehicle types for spring/summer/fall for cabin access. Winter guests please see cautionary notes below:
Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is ice/snow on the ground and a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended.
While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.
My friends and I loved staying at this cabin! Very spacious and clean and with great amenities too. Only thing is make sure that all three showers and bathtub are not used at the same time because you won’t get hot water in the shower then but other than that we had a very pleasant stay!

Lots of different spaces so everyone could be together or have quiet time, as needed, great amenities with the hot tub and grill and beautiful grounds with the river running out back. We had lots of snow over the weekend and NW Comfy Cabins was very realistic and gracious to accommodate a late check out for us due to the weather conditions. We all had a great time and would love to stay again someday!

by KeynaStunning location right on the river, you could see the train from the back yard. The home was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for as a little winter getaway. Perfect for a bigger group of people, we were so grateful to be able to bring the dog with us. Owners were very kind and responsive, they let us check in early before the storm hit in the area so we weren’t driving in the storm. We would happily stay here again or in one of the sister locations! Thanks again!!

Our two floats down the river from foot bridge to house are highly recommended. Would recommend a new dishwasher be considered as dishes were not always cleaned well.

The only thing the kitchen didn't have is much food storage, but NW Comfy Cabins had emailed to give us a heads up in advance -- and we brought a box of foil with us, and it was totally fine. There is a really nice griddle & we used it for kick ass pancakes! Plenty of towels, the hot tub was great, and the outdoor areas are really spacious. 10/10 recommend and we would definitely stay here again!!

by ShelleyThis house was fabulous! Super clean, which was amazing, and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. Very nice yard for games, and patios were awesome. Weather wasn't nice enough for our stay, but unless when the river runs lower, there is really no where to play in the water, as the pics look like on website.

The only thing that we would note is that, while there are plenty a group of 11-12 to sleep, the kitchen and living area are a little tight for a large group. This perhaps more noticeable in the winter when it\'s difficult to spend time outside. It was also not clear when we booked that there was a limit to the number of dogs, the extra cost for the dogs, and how big the dogs could be. (We may have missed this detail, so this could have been our mistake). It turned out fine, though. We appreciated the ability to have dogs there, the hot tub, the game room and more. It was a very nice stay.
