Welcome to Riverwood Lodge (STR Permit #000218), a spacious five-bedroom retreat set along the peaceful Wenatchee River just outside the mountain community of Plain.

Designed for families, friends, and group getaways, Riverwood offers room for up to 12 guests, three full bathrooms, multiple living spaces, and a private suite that gives larger groups added flexibility and privacy.

The riverfront setting is a destination all its own. Start the morning with coffee overlooking the water, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the propane firepit, or enjoy some friendly competition in the game room.

When adventure calls, Leavenworth, Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake, Stevens Pass, and miles of year-round recreation are all within reach.

Riverwood gives your group the space to gather, room to spread out, and a beautiful mountain setting to enjoy together.

LIVING SPACE:
Warm, lodge-inspired interiors welcome you with comfortable furnishings, cozy fireplaces, and plenty of room for everyone to settle in.

Large windows frame the surrounding forest and river, bringing the peaceful setting indoors. Multiple living and gathering areas allow larger groups to enjoy time together without feeling crowded.

Excellent Wi-Fi and entertainment systems with streaming capabilities make it easy to stay connected or settle in for a movie after a day of exploring.

For a little friendly competition, the converted garage game room features both air hockey and foosball, giving kids and adults another fun space to enjoy.

• The private suite can accommodate a guest-provided queen air mattress for additional sleeping flexibility

Upper Level:
• Bedroom 3: Queen bed
• Bedroom 4: King bed + private soaking tub
• Bedroom 5: Two twin beds
• Sofa sleeper in the common area
• Full bathroom on the upper level

Amazing! We all loved it, it was perfect. 30 minutes outside of Leavenworth, and so worth it for the views, the walks, peaceful atmosphere. More beds than expected, which was nice for some who didn’t want to share a queen.

Very clean and beautiful cabin with attached apartment and separate living space. We rented for a small birthday party celebration with aunts and uncles and cousin present. Hot tub was clean and inviting. Garden tub in master bedroom was lovely (definitely need to stagger showers and baths due to waterheater). 2 washers and 2 dryers made for easy upkeep with the towels.The property lists that it sleeps 12. However, that includes couch spaces with very firm beds sleeping 6- 10.The only major downside was the splinter-gifting decks and balconies, and somewhat sketchy stairs to the river access.Overall, a great experience. We will definitely look into this company again, just maybe not this particular cabin next time.

We loved the place and had a great time together. The cabin had lots of board games I wish we found earlier but the outdoors was what we enjoyed the most.


Overall great, comfy bed, great central air, amazing views, clean, lots of towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, etc.

Overall, they were accommodating, friendly, and offered a great place.


We are happy they setup air purifiers which allowed us to enjoy the stay despite the fires. We were able to invest in that community that is hurting so much right now.

We had such a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely stunning and the cottage itself is beautifully designed — it’s clear a lot of thought went into the space. The kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped with good quality, clean supplies. We honestly overpacked because we didn’t expect it to be this well-stocked. The place was spotless and the host was super responsive to all our questions. The deck, backyard, and river access were amazing, we spent most of our time out there. Only heads up is that the kitchen is tiny, but it wasn’t a deal breaker at all. We made it work just fine. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Our family had an amazing experience, we had three kids (ages: 2, 4, 10) and six adults with us.

Everyone loved the hot tub, the kids made snowmen in the back yard, they had a beautiful Christmas tree up which made a magical evening with a Christmas movie and hot cocoa.

The house was clean, well stocked with towels, laundry soap, etc. Make sure to bring your own spices for cooking. Lots of kitchen appliances - but limited larger pans.

The host was great with communication, very responsive. We had no issues. Easy check in. Easy check out.

Our family had an amazing time here. We try to go to Leavenworth once a year and will definitely be staying with NW Comfy Cabins again. They were very responsive and friendly. We had a hard time getting the heaters working in the garage but they came first thing the next morning and got it fixed for us!! We had a family of 9 adults and 3 children and this house was perfect size. Plenty of living room and dining room space for everyone.

Stunning location right on the river, you could see the train from the back yard. The home was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for as a little winter getaway. Perfect for a bigger group of people, we were so grateful to be able to bring the dog with us. Owners were very kind and responsive, they let us check in early before the storm hit in the area so we weren’t driving in the storm. We all loved staying here! The house was a perfect size for our group of 8. Being right on the river was amazing. The only thing the kitchen didn't have is much food storage, but NW Comfy Cabins had emailed to give us a heads up in advance -- and we brought a box of foil with us, and it was totally fine. There is a really nice griddle & we used it for kick ass pancakes! Plenty of towels, the hot tub was great, and the outdoor areas are really spacious. 10/10 recommend and we would definitely stay here again!!

Our family of 11 enjoyed our stay here. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. The property, just next to the river, was beautiful. The only thing that we would note is that, while there are plenty a group of 11-12 to sleep, the kitchen and living area are a little tight for a large group. This perhaps more noticeable in the winter when it\'s difficult to spend time outside. It was also not clear when we booked that there was a limit to the number of dogs, the extra cost for the dogs, and how big the dogs could be. (We may have missed this detail, so this could have been our mistake). It turned out fine, though. We appreciated the ability to have dogs there, the hot tub, the game room and more. It was a very nice stay.

Great location and plenty of space for a large group get-away! It did make us a bit uncomfortable to hear there were noise monitors placed around the home, and the signage was a bit in-your-face about quiet hours and hot tub times for a regular calm group just hoping to spend time outdoors in the evenings, but it’s understandable why they have to be strict about it given the county code. Overall great place to be - we were able to see the stars and watch the meteor shower from the deck!

What an amazing property. We enjoyed our stay so much! Together with our kids we exchanged vows at Lake Wenatchee and came back to the cabin and enjoyed our time as a new blended family. It was perfect. Thank you!!!

Can’t count the number of times I said “I love this house!\"

can’t count the number of times I said “I love this house!” over the weekend. It was perfect for our family of 5. The teenagers loved the game room, and we all enjoyed the hot tub and spacious, comfy living area to hang out. Grilled every night, then booted up something to watch on the smart TV. Warning, though: bring bug spray if you go in the summer!

Great cabin for family stay

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Plenty of bedrooms and a great large dining room table to accommodate our family. Very clean and with a everything needed for our stay. Amazing view from the deck and hot tub. The game room was an added bonus.

Great house, location, and amenities! We did a back to school two family trip and had a blast. The peaceful backyard was great for the kids and seeing deer and an osprey; the garage with air hockey and video games bought the adults a proper cocktail hour too! Everything was clean and comfortable, hot tub spotless, and very relaxing. The stars at night on the deck were amazing! The heater out there was out of propane but we just used the hot tub instead and didn’t need it.

Our family rented this wonderful cabin over the week of Thanksgiving. This was a wonderfully spacious and perfect space for us to relax. We also rented the mother in law suite, which gave us access to a second full kitchen. Words don't describe how beautiful this home is and it's RIGHT on the river surrounded trees and mountains. Can't wait to return.
