The house has everything you need to prepare meals. There were baby items, high chair and pack and play - which was helpful.

Loved old world charm this house had, four bedroom, 2 bathrooms with lots of sitting and dining area. Also loved the fenced fire pit area it was nice to sit have your morning coffee and let the dog run around.

There were puzzles and games inside the house that we played, even though we brought our own. Everything we needed was provided. And the check-in and checkout was very simple. NW Comfy Cabin's Rockwell Retreat in Leavenworth was a good value stay, clean, and comfortable. We were able to fit 3 cars in the driveway, 1 more than advertised, which saved us a good bit of money over street parking. The location is perfect and super walkable to downtown Leavenworth and its bevy of delicious restaurants as well as trails to the river. The house also had a cozy lawn space that was nice to hang out in after the heat of the day had passed before returning to the nicely AC'd interior to call it a night.

Wonderful, private whole home- perfect for being close to downtown Leavenworth while still being able to get away from it all and have enough private space as individuals. We had kids with us so we needed a spot that wouldn't be too much in the chaos for early bedtime while still close for walking with strollers. SO glad we got this place, it was perfect for our family of 8 and we were able to enjoy Leavenworth together. Will definitely re-book when we come back to Leavenworth!

We had a fantastic stay and had tons of space. So close to everything; we didn’t have to drive at all! Dog friendly for sure! Small yard but my dog was fine with it. We had mostly everything we needed and response time to our questions was quick. The only thing was the water doesn’t get very hot when showering, but other than that it was a perfect spot for our weekend trip! I would definitely recommend!

Rockwell is ‘well’ worth it!

The Rockwell Retreat is quiet and cozy! Adjacent to downtown/Front St makes it super convenient to walk into everything you want to see in Leavenworth proper. (just a couple short blocks to shops, stores and restaurants). The house had everything we needed for a long weekend plus. Super clean, nicely appointed with a mix of modern and period correct furniture and comfy beds! If you have pets, there’s a well-built run/fire pit area out front. Huge common/living room area - it’s almost like two living rooms but they flow so well that everyone can spread out and still be together! Literally the only thing we had to do was bring food! Will definitely be coming back!!!

I celebrated my 34th birthday with my partner, mom, sister, brother in law, niece (10) and our french bulldogs. The house was great for multiple groups as you can easily close off the upstairs and the hallway with the downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was pleasant to cook in, and the big dining room table worked great for dinners and playing games at. The real star of this house though was the location! We've made it an annual thing to come to leavenworth for my birthday in December and this was far the most convenient location, just a block from the heart of downtown!

Overall we loved the house. It was better in person than the pictures portrayed. It is in a very convenient location within a short walk to the downtown. The kitchen was well appointed with everything like new. The only thing missing was some plastic wrap! Having the entry codes in advance was a real plus. We almost exclusively used the front entry as we couldn't get the code to work on the back door and, frankly, the rear stairs are treacherous! The home is roomy and inviting with a great dining/meeting area for eating and game playing. The upstairs bedrooms were bright to a fault with no blinds or window coverings. They were also extremely hot and the supplied fans and portable a/c unit were not sufficient to cool it down. We unfortunately were there on the first really hot weekend of the year.

The location was amazing!

This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway in Leavenworth. Immediately upon entering the house we felt at home. We arrived in late afternoon and found lamps on in the main part of the home, welcoming us. The 4 bedrooms were spaced out perfectly for privacy. We had plenty of towels, blankets, and most everything we needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner. The location was amazing! We were able to walk to everything. The home is also dog friendly, and our furry pups also felt right at home. We would love to visit again in the summer months!

Quite Comfortable

Our group of six plus two kids were quite comfortable in the house. It was beneficial that it was quite walkable to center of town since the holiday crowds were heavy and all street parking was taken. Great to have some parking spaces. Loved our stay in your home! Great house that met all our needs. Family get together from three states…we loved the dining room with big table, we gathered around it to visit in the evening and ate lunches here during the day. The house is very close to downtown and many in group walked to and from town….parking seemed limited downtown…so the location of house was an added bonus. The house is on a corner lot but it is in a quiet area…at least during our visit. We saw the horse drawn carriage leaving for town and retuning and on the morning of our departure 5 deer went the house and walked down the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot in walking distance of town center (plus Starbucks!). Quaint older home with lots of nice touches (games, books, DVDs). One of our group members worked from here and Wi-Fi was great for video conferencing. Roku was a bit unreliable at times, but not a major issue. The upstairs shower had very little water pressure, but only 5 of us so we managed with sharing one shower. Would recommend using front door for primary access, back steps are a bit uneven. Overall a wonderful time - the location was great since we had one car and some were able to drive to skiing while others stayed and could walk to town.
Hello Michele, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at the Rockwell Retreat. Great news on the upstairs shower, we just changed out the shower head and it is good as new. We are thrilled you loved the eclectic/vintage feel and the "extras" the owner has provided for their guests, and yes, the proximity to walk to the center of the Village is second to none. We do advise guests to use the main door as the main point of entry as much as possible, so thank you for noting that as well. We hope to hear from you again and have you back as our guests at NW COMFY CABINS.

Packed up the family to experience the "Christmas Village" and was so happy to be in walking distance to everything! No need to worry about parking. The house was very eclectic and had a fun feel of vintage/new and a "welcome home." Our family will most certainly be back and can't wait to experience Leavenworth in the summer.
