We stayed for 2 nights and the weather worked out for our family. We utilized the outdoor space and enjoyed the hot tub in cooler evenings. Cabin was close to Leavenworth where we spent the days exploring. The cabin was very cozy and very clean. We would recommend some newer cooking pots and pans. We would definitely stay here again! This place is absolutely beautiful! Everything was super clean, and well organized. You can tell that there is great care taken to make sure everything is clean and you feel right at home. We had everything we needed, and then some. The host were extremely friendly and helpful during the snow fall we experienced. They made sure the driveway was plowed and left us plenty of snow scraping supplies. We will absolutely come and stay here again.

Amazing cabin getaway!

Thyme Out was fantastic! It was so clean and well appointed. I especially loved how the light switches were labeled - thank you for that! The setting is what really set it apart for us. The property backs up to the border of Wenatchee National Forest, and was so peaceful. The best part of our time here was sitting on the back deck, listening to nothing but the sounds of the forest. We look forward to returning next year!

Delightful Extras

Got a good deal on the place for a short ski getaway with a couple and kids. Lots of space, clean and cozy, and probably as close as one can get to Stevens really for this much comfort at the price we paid. Wood burning stove and clean hot tub were delightful extras to have. The check in process was a little confusing at first, but the host was very responsive and supplied us with the access code in time for our arrival. All was as advertised and we were quite satisfied.

We absolutely loved staying at the Thyme Out cabin. We also called to extend our stay by one day, and the two people from NWCC who helped my husband were super nice, super helpful, and we truly appreciated it. We had a horrible experience with AirBNB and the host, Evolve, last Christmas, so this was wonderful to experience something so much more professional and friendly, and stay in a place that was clean and relaxing. Thank you. We will be booking with NWCC again, very soon.

Thyme Out has a lovely atmosphere and every amenity we could think of, including spices for cooking! The one challenge was finding all the light switches for the kitchen…the ones over the island must have a hidden switch. We loved our stay at this cabin!

We love our stays at the Comfy Cabins we have visited. Over the years we have stayed at several and would/have return to each of them if they are available when we need one. This one is set up against the forest and that led to a very quiet peaceful trip. The cabin itself has a lovely layout but I would like to comment on a couple things that would have been helpful to know. The most challenging thing was finding all the light switches. There is a row if three behind the fridge. One is for the island lights, one for the porch light and one for the very bright spotlight that is so bright it lights up the upstairs bedroom even with the blinds drawn. The outside string lights are so pretty but when we want to sit in the hot tub at night and enjoy the darkness they were a bit annoying and we had to hunt for the plugs to turn them off though we couldn’t unplug all of them. The king and queen beds really need new mattresses. The queen sinks so deep in the middle that you end up rolling into each other. The king bed has a foam topper that helps with the age of the mattress but makes it so high it’s a bit challenging to climb into if you aren’t really tall. We did have a lovely time together but can’t say that this is a cabin we will return to.

A new CASPER mattress for the king bed has been delivered/setup. The boxspring for the queen was checked/repositioned and is all good so should not be an issue for any future guests. The light switches have all been relabeled (2/2/23) and per the guest book are noted, so no more issues trying to locate the light switches and the exterior lights/remote for the outdoor edison bulbs as well. The exterior sodium light was changed out with a timed motion sensor light.

The hot tub company pulled up just as we checked out, so nice to know it is professionally cleaned between each stay.

Just a heads up the cabins address is in Leavenworth but it’s about 30 minutes from downtown- that wasn’t a problem for us but just in case you’re looking for something closer. Thyme Out cabin is beautiful and has a lot to offer. The hot tub right off the back deck is easily accessible and was perfect after being out in the snow. The bedrooms were nice with fairly comfortable beds and the kitchen was roomy for all of your cooking needs. Upon arriving it was very cold inside, the previous guest left a couple pieces of wood, so we were able to start up a fire right away and grab more wood in town. There are a few things that this cabin needs to upgrade to meet the nightly price in our opinion. In the listing it says there is an italian soda bar, which wouldn't normally be a big deal, but we came prepared with most everything to make them but found there is nothing italian soda related in the cabin--no syrups like advertised in the photos. The couch has a large tear in one of the cushions, the master bedroom TV would not connect to cable as advertised/only had DVD capability and the TV in the living room flickers the entire time watching along with a remote that only works if you push the buttons several times in a row. The wood on the roof above the hot tub is moldy and needs replacing, and the dishwasher is fairly dirty. All pretty first world problems, but for the price per night, I would suggest they address these items. Overall, we had a great time, but probably would not return for the price. Customer service was very helpful with early check in, which was great.

I just reached out to the current guest on site as they came in after you and he says they are ALL working great and as they should be, so am thinking the TV upstairs for sure was on the wrong source/input when you were there. An easy fix and the current guest must have gotten it. I do apologize the Italian soda items were no longer on site, "amenities are subject to change" and I have since removed that verbiage from the description, the photo of it was removed long ago so I again, I apologize for the oversight on that. Housekeeping has been told heaters are to stay on during winter months so guests arrive to a nice cozy cabin and I will send your experience to housekeeping to remind them arriving to a cold cabin in winter is no fun and that is certainly not the norm. I have not been contacted about the couch so will get on that as soon as these next guests depart and it will get resolved immediately. We will also get a D/W clean solution run after this next guest departs. I just want to thank you again for all of your feedback as we take this all to heart and ensure any legitimate items are dealt with immediately, and resolved. As always we welcome our guests to call at ANY time should they need assistance with ANYTHING such as the TV's as we could have resolved that while you were on site. Our #1 endeavor is to have the best customer service in the area so we are thrilled to hear you were happy with that, and I can say with the utmost confidence had we been contacted about any of the aforementioned items while you were there we would have gone above and beyond to get you taken care of to the best of our ability.. We had a great time at this cabin! The house is very clean, spacious, and the amenities are great. Our dog loved running around the property, just had to make sure to keep an eye on him as there are no fences. The house is fully stocked with almost everything you could think of including lots of games to keep us occupied. I highly recommend this property, especially if you are looking to get out of town for some peace and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Only downside (but no stars off for this) was that there are a lot of mosquitoes and small frogs outside where the hot tub and propane fire is. We had to use bug spray for mosquitoes and had to remove frogs from chairs and the hot tub sides before using. I would stay here again!

With Covid and the elimination of our normal vacation options this year, we have come to rely on Comfy Cabins rentals as a safe vacation option during a pandemic. This is our 3rd trip this year renting one of the cabins in their management pool and it was beyond our expectations. A huge thank you to the owners that share their home and allow a dog! Your mountain home was beyond our expectations. A super well stocked kitchen made cooking the Thanksgiving dinner a breeze! It snowed while we were there and it made for such a winter wonderland! Everything about this cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and Aussie dog! The hot tub with the awesome outdoor lighting was so appreciated after a long day snow shoeing! Thank you also for getting us in the Christmas spirit with the decorations and tree! Comfy Cabins staff - you all rock! We had a great long weekend at Thyme Out. Especially loved that it backed onto national forest land/roads so we could go for walks and hikes without getting in the car. It was a hot few days in Plain, as you would expect this time of year, but the cabin stayed really comfortably cool so we didn’t even use the ac (but were glad it was an option just in case). The cabin overall was nice. It needed some repairs and most of the kitchen cookig items were old and tired. The hot tub where the head rests use to be are gone and has screws showing so two of us ripped our suits due to exposed screws. It could have been much cleaner as when the sun shined through the windows you could see just how dirty the place truly was and during COVID times this was a bit disconcerning and when you took your shoes off and walked in your socks and they turned instantly brown you knew the floors were not cleaned.

We had the internet go out while we wwere there and when we called the management office we never received a call back however not surprising as it was a holiday weekend.

Alicia, Thank you so very much for sharing your feedback as it is always much appreciated and taken with open ears. I will be getting new kitchen pots/pans today and delivering them to the cabin immediately as this is the first time anyone has mentioned them being "tired" so that will be resolved today. A new hot tub is actually all ready on order and will be delivered in the next few weeks, unfortunately being in the rental pool is very hard on hot tubs because some people are experienced with using them properly and some are not, so lids/headrests and jets are often the first to be "worn" or "damaged" this is a constant issue due to the type of transient use. The cabin did sit for one week prior to your arrival and the mountains, dusty driveways, overshadow a thorough "dusting" within a couple of days, so it is unfortunate that occurred and regarding the floor, the staff member who cleaned prior to your arrival was training a new staffer so they have both been spoken to to ensure that they are communicating who did what. This type of experience is far from the norm of this home and/or any of our "Comfy Cabins" so I want to apologize that your visit was less than "perfect." I also want to apologize for the internet going down and no call back, I had no messages on the emergency line and did indeed get a call from the guests after you that it was down and we resolved it immediately due to a new reset with the carrier as a recent power outage had set terminated the direct feed. So again, I apologize your visit was less than as this is not the norm, and we are so glad you would still recommend us to others. Hope to hear from you again using your return guest discount.

We were so thrilled with our stay at the Thyme Out cabin. We were supposed to be on vacation in Europe, but had to cancel because of the COVID-19. We were still able to get away and have an amazing time. The cabin is stocked with everything we needed to have a great time, movies, games, a variety of spices. The hot tub was a treat. The coffee bar was a nice touch. Although there were cabins nearby, we never noticed them. All of the rooms were super cozy and the beds were so comfortable. We would love to come back again. This is our 3rd time using NWCOMFY Cabins. Decided on Thursday to see if there was anything available for the weekend and had several choices. Picked Thyme Out this time. We went to relax and have some "us" time and got just that. We loved the cabin. Everything was clean, nicely decorated like a cabin should be. Kitchen well stocked and had a great little coffee bar. We cooked outdoors on the grill as well. Jeannie also was able to accommodate us for a late checkout which made it less stressful for leaving 🙂

We were looking for a cabin to spend some quality family time together and this place was perfect! We have rented quite a few cabins and we would love to come back to this one. The place was very clean, well stocked, and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire place and hot tub after the kids went sleep and used the outdoor fire pit in day with the kids to make s’mores. We made one trip into Leavenworth and it was about 25 minutes (we knew this before) but very beautiful drive! We also liked the location as it was within community but they all had huge lots and main deck area/amenities did not face any cabins and felt very private. The coffee bar was a great bonus for our early morning wake ups with our baby (very kid friendly place, we just had fireplace on after bedtime) but their is main heating system so was more for ambience. We would love to return again!

Real enjoyable experience. Thyme Out Cabin was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Felt like a great home. Good interior layout with big kitchen. Cabin was really quiet and relaxing. Kids loved the big lot, wrap around deck and place to sled. Thanks for sharing your cabin with our group.
We went skiing, snowmobiling and played tourist in Leavenworth. The location was pretty central for those activities. We were about a 30 minute scenic drive to everything. Hadn't been up to this area in a few years so kind of forgot how beautiful it was and how many things to do. Already plotting our next visit.
NW ComfyCabins was super responsive in our initial inquires and had the place ready for us at check in time. There was some nice unexpected touches that we appreciated.
Definitely recommend Thyme Out and Comfy Cabins.

We loved our stay. The house was in immaculate condition, very nicely decorated, comfortable, and truly felt like a home. The coffee bar, especially, was an exciting discovery. The location was perfect. There are other cabins along the road, but significant distant apart, and privacy was no struggle. We enjoyed watching the deer come through the yard each morning. The rules at the cabin are all reasonable and weren't by any means heavy-handed. They can basically just be summed up as "don't break stuff or make a lot of work for the cleaning personnel." Fair enough. The little (very little) town of Plain, about 10 minutes away, made for a perfectly sized and located place to go out to eat, but without having to experience anything like the city. It was a great getaway.

We enjoyed this cabin and the surrounding area. There was a minor issue we had that was immediately taken care of. Props to them for being on top of things. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. We do a lot of beach rentals since we are from Southeast Texas so the mountain/cabin motif was fun! I would recommend this cabin!
We had our 8 yr old granddaughter w us so we brought board games. I suggest you do that!
The only negative, which isn’t much, is way to many emails that stress the same thing. We decided it may be due to the renters not being seasoned renters. We are as we love getaways.

We spend a wonderful Holiday weekend at the Thyme out cabin. Everything was perfect for our family of 6 and two dogs.
The kitchen was great for cooking a big meal with multiple people, the dining area more than sufficient and most all supplies were at hand. We did miss some smaller bowels and some of the lids did not fit the pots.
The Hottub was wonderful, the beds comfortable and the one full bath worked out okay as there was a powder room down stairs.
The wood stove was a must that weekend as the temperatures dropped in the teens.
The house was very cozy, inviting and clean. Lots of cabin knick knacks and an abundance of Black bear decoration 😉 .

This was so what my daughter, dog and myself needed, was "time away (out)" and the Thyme Out cabin was very relaxing and comfortable that it was hard to leave. We want to thank The Bethel family for sharing their cabin with us. We will definitely do this again!!!

We had a great stay at this cabin. Very remote feeling as it was truly up against a forest. We were able to go hiking right off the back deck. Cabin was clean and well apportioned and comfortable to stay.

Items of note for Management: Propane in BBQ ran out just as we were half way through grilling the steaks... I couldn't find a spare propane bottle but highly suggest one be placed at the property.

Note to future renters: The 3rd bedroom door is actually located within the 2nd bedroom, so the person staying in the 3rd bedroom has to walk through the 2nd bedroom to get out... No problem on our stay, but I could see it being an issue with 3 couples for privacy concerns.

Bear motif throughout the cabin was tres cool - you can tell the cabin is well loved by her owners.

Our family had a wonderful vacation here. It was just what we were looking for. We left the cabin only once and headed into Leavenworth for the day. The hot tub was perfectly hot, clear and well maintained. We saw a couple of cars pass on the road in front of the cabin, but never saw anyone else the whole time we were up there.
The beds were very comfortable, and warm. And I love the way that the cabin was lovingly decorated. It was perfectly styled in mountain cabin theme.
My only complaint was that there was no snow! And at this time Fish Lake was not frozen over yet. So it was not safe to skate on. A huge bummer as it is only 4 miles from the cabin and we are a hockey family. But, there was a stroke of luck. The cabin property has a nice hill and it was completely covered in thick sheets of ice. So, my children spent two solid days ice sledding down that hill. And, after my hubby and I had enjoyed about 20 rides down, we retired our selves to a marvelous porch swing to watch them. Cups of warm coffee and lots of thick blankets just completed the time perfectly.
Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful slice of heaven! It was just what we needed!! We'll be back next year...and we'll be hoping for snow!

Really nice location in Chiwawa River Pines. Plenty of space between other homes and great view of the forest. Cabin was clean and well stocked. No real complaints here. Loved the wrap around deck with porch swing. Quiet area in the summer. Abiut 10 minutes from Lake Wenatchee where you can rent sup's or kayaks close to Fish Lake for fishing too. Great getaway for some needed R&R! This cabin is more impressive than the pictures lead you to believe. The location is a healthy distance away from Leavenworth allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy little town. If you're going in the summer months, pack bug spray, there were quite a few mosquitoes! However, it was well worth a few bites to be so close to the forest and to have peace and quiet.

We spend a wonderful Holiday weekend at the Thyme out cabin. Everything was perfect for our family of 6 and two dogs.
The kitchen was great for cooking a big meal with multiple people, the dining area more than sufficient and most all supplies were at hand. We did miss some smaller bowels and some of the lids did not fit the pots.
The Hottub was wonderful, the beds comfortable and the one full bath worked out okay as there was a powder room down stairs.
The wood stove was a must that weekend as the temperatures dropped in the teens.
The house was very cozy, inviting and clean. Lots of cabin knick knacks and an abundance of Black bear decoration 😉 .

While this place was a great stay for my wife and i, the only thing for me was that it was a little farther from town than I would have liked, about 30 minutes each way, so long as you have the day planned out there that's not a big deal, great place but I think in the future I would have stayed a little closer if not in town itself.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, seclusion, relaxation, yet with all the amenities of a house....this cabin is it! Everything we needed for our weekend getaway was here: hottub, fully stocked kitchen, tons of space, great floor plan, backs to the forrest, neighbors are far away. It was fantastic and very relaxing. The cabin made it feel like we were invited and very home like. The Kitchen provided everything we needed to cook and easy to manage. This home is perfect for a cozy, wooded getaway. There were six of us in the home and we never felt cramped. We spent the long weekend playing games, hiking, cooking, and enjoying the hot tub. It was exactly what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Thyme Out. The area was lovely and great for long walks with our dogs. It is a great place for solitude. We had an issue with the gas running out on the BBQ on the last night, but I’m sure that would have been rectified if we if we had called someone about it.

Nice outside spaces on the covered wrap around deck with a decent gas grill. Be prepared to pay for any films on the SAT TV but there is a bit of a DVD library. Wi Fi works fine with no problems. All in all a very nice place and good value for the money, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Everything was wonderful. Especially appreciated our first morning walk which we took with a deer! Cabin was well furnished and equipped. Only issue was kitchen lighting...seemed like there was a dimmer switch someplace which we never able to locate. Loved it and plan on returning next year.

We had a great stay at this cabin. Very remote feeling as it was truly up against a forest. We were able to go hiking right off the back deck. Cabin was clean and well apportioned and comfortable to stay.

Items of note for Management: Propane in BBQ ran out just as we were half way through grilling the steaks... I couldn't find a spare propane bottle but highly suggest one be placed at the property.

Note to future renters: The 3rd bedroom door is actually located within the 2nd bedroom, so the person staying in the 3rd bedroom has to walk through the 2nd bedroom to get out... No problem on our stay, but I could see it being an issue with 3 couples for privacy concerns.

Bear motif throughout the cabin was tres cool - you can tell the cabin is well loved by her owners.

Our family had a wonderful vacation here. It was just what we were looking for. We left the cabin only once and headed into Leavenworth for the day. The hot tub was perfectly hot, clear and well maintained. We saw a couple of cars pass on the road in front of the cabin, but never saw anyone else the whole time we were up there.
The beds were very comfortable, and warm. And I love the way that the cabin was lovingly decorated. It was perfectly styled in mountain cabin theme.
My only complaint was that there was no snow! And at this time Fish Lake was not frozen over yet. So it was not safe to skate on. A huge bummer as it is only 4 miles from the cabin and we are a hockey family. But, there was a stroke of luck. The cabin property has a nice hill and it was completely covered in thick sheets of ice. So, my children spent two solid days ice sledding down that hill. And, after my hubby and I had enjoyed about 20 rides down, we retired our selves to a marvelous porch swing to watch them. Cups of warm coffee and lots of thick blankets just completed the time perfectly.
Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful slice of heaven! It was just what we needed!! We'll be back next year...and we'll be hoping for snow!

It is bit far from town and furniture is too bulkey, causes you to slump; no where to put feet but the hard table. Guess I'm use to my recliner. Need blinds you can't see thru at night. Other than that, great place!

It is bit far from town and furniture is too bulkey, causes you to slump; no where to put feet but the hard table. Guess I'm use to my recliner. Need blinds you can't see thru at night. Other than that, great place!

We stayed here for three days, it was a blissful and relaxing time. Everything was perfect! Far enough away to be completely serene and close enough for fun! I will be staying again in the future.

This cabin was beautiful. We loved the actual log cabin feel! It was a great location, Wenatchee Lake was only minutes away and the scenery was amazing! I would definitely come back to this cabin!

My husband and I and our 2 dogs were looking for just a quick weekend getaway. This house was perfect! Very quiet and relaxing. We did not use a lot of the amenities, but can see were a big family would have a blast! We loved the outside fireplace!!!
We hope to return in the winter!
