Welcome to Trobele (STR Permit #000085), a warm and inviting two-level mountain chalet named after the traditional Lithuanian farmhouse hut of the 16th century. Blending cultural charm with modern comfort, this peaceful escape sits just above Fish Lake, offering a peek-a-boo lake view, access to a private community dock, and snowmobile trails that begin right from the driveway.
Perfect for families and small groups, Trobele delivers a classic cabin experience with cozy wood finishes, soaring evergreens, and thoughtful touches throughout. While Fish Lake is ideal for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, swimming is not recommended—however, the crystal-clear waters of Lake Wenatchee State Park are just minutes away for summer beach days, SUP rentals, and lakeside picnics. For electric vehicle travelers, a Tesla Supercharger is only 11 minutes away.

There are no vehicle restrictions on vehicle types for spring/summer/fall for cabin access. Winter guests please see cautionary notes below:
Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. No exceptions.
While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

Cabin is very well appointed
by StephanieA great weekend in the mountains at this cabin close to Fish Lake. The cabin is very well appointed for cooking which I would recommend planning on as there aren't too many dining options nearby. The well water was clean tasting and ran clear. We went into Leavenworth one day and had a classic German sausage, one breakfast at the 59er diner (kitschy and greasy good), and a nice meal at Wildflour (not amazing but it was good). Mosquitos were an evening/early morning menace. We ended up not using the grill or the propane fire pit because of the bugs, though we had great comfy sofa and board game evenings instead. Plenty of room for everyone to spend time together and then retreat for alone time. The living room accommodated two travel kennels without having to move any furniture. There was a nearby wild fire that kept the road in front busy with big trucks so dog walks and the walk to the lake were a bit unnerving. I would plan on nearby hiking trails for dog walks in the future.

Great house! Property management VERY responsive. The AC was broken but they made every effort (portable AC units) to make it a comfortable stay. We loved the location.
