My wife and I had a great stay this weekend. We encountered an unexpected issue reaching the property that delayed our check-in by one day. The team was courteous enough to grant us late check out so we could enjoy the property and surrounding area a little longer. The property itself was so cozy and clean. Our second time at the Berg House and just as special as the first. Very gorgeous views of the mountains and quiet neighborhood to relax away from the bustle of the tourist town.House is always clean, well kept and updated. Easy to access and easy to use everything inside. Very simple to book and the house rules are super clear and don’t require a bunch of hoops to go through. Very pet friendly for dogs which is great.Only wish the new house next door had less bright outdoor sconces at night. It unfortunately ruins the star viewing from the dining room window seats… but minor complaint overall.Everything else was great.

We enjoyed our stay in a NW Comfy Cabin 5 minutes from the town of Leavenworth. The area is peaceful and beautiful, with easy access to hiking and Lake Wenatchee. The home was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed making meals and sipping wine when we wanted a break from the restaurants in town.

This home is well worth it! We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. The home is about 5 minutes outside of town which is perfect because we could take in the gorgeous views of the area from the apartment and outdoor patio while having easy access to town. The unit was private and offset from the owners home. Checkin was a breeze. The unit itself is clean, well stocked with kitchen basics (coffee maker, pans, etc), well decorated, and so cozy! It was the perfect stay for my husband, dog, and baby. We loved bringing a local bottle of wine home and enjoying it with a view and nice meal on the patio. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again. Thanks for the great stay!

One of my favorites.

I stay in quite a few airbnbs and the like for work as well as for a vacation. This had to be one of my favorites. It was a beautiful spot. Everything was super clean and new. They had a great road to take our dog walking on and they were just close enough to town that it was easy and cheap to get an uber or drive there in about five minutes. The views from the house and the hot tub are stunning and we will definitely be looking to stay there again. Great job!

Would never stay anywhere else when coming again!

We absolutely loved our visit to Leavenworth and would never stay anywhere else when coming again! The apartment was in an absolutely breathtaking location surrounded trees, very quiet and had a gorgeous view of the mountains and was conveniently located only 5 minutes from stores and all of the shops/restaurants/attractions. One of the nights my husband got really sick and I had to call an ambulance and the next morning the owner had left us a care package with waters, pedialite, liquid IV and Gatorade’s. That was so extremely thoughtful and went above and beyond. I chatted with him for a bit and he was very friendly. The jacuzzi was sooooo relaxing, the place was very clean, the kitchen had everything you could ever need, the bed was comfortable, the shower had the perfect water pressure, lots of extra blankets/pillows/towels. I could go on and on. I’m an introvert who is a homebody and I did not want to go home because I loved this place soooo much. Book it, you won’t regret it.

We just needed a quick get away after our daughter's wedding. It was a great way to unwind and relax. We love Leavenworth! One of our favorite places to visit. The fact that this location was so close to town, was fabulous! The only thing I can say that needed a little work was the lawn area. It was difficult for our older dog to walk on as it was very dry and brittle and on a hot day, it hurt her paws. But other then that! We rate it a 10 plus!

Superb location! Just enough outside of the city to feel restful but close enough we were able to drive back and forth throughout the day. The deck looking towards the mountain view was out favorite part. We had a tiny electrical issue upon check-in and NW Comfy Cabins and the owner were both very responsive and fixed the issue quickly. We had a beautiful and relaxing stay. We took advantage of the private hot tub and upper deck on many occasions. The window seat was our favorite, and the bed was really comfortable. Every morning my daughter woke-up and said “that was the best sleep I’ve ever had!” We plan to come back again (and again). Couple things: 7 y/o kid gives the house 4 (out of 5) stars because they would have liked more games available. The dog gave it 6 (out of 5) stars because he got loose and there were no fences to keep him in.

Wonderful in every way

Zero complaints! The rental is up an indoor flight of stairs, above a three car garage detached from the main home on the property. It\'s larger than the photos imply, and recently built with very nice appliances and finishes throughout. Very private, quiet, well maintained, etc. Hot tub worked and was clean. Our dogs loved the second floor deck. The only thing that gave us pause were the his-and-hers adult Bavarian costumes in the bedroom closet, but perhaps some guests are into that. The property is managed a local business who I will definitely book with again when we come through next-- and they offer direct bookings. They were extremely responsive and helpful all week. The rental is in a stunning neighborhood of recently built, high end homes on large lots in the rolling hills around North Road, just over a mile from Leavenworth, even closer to the Amtrak station (but no train noises), with easy access up Chumstick Highway to Plain or Lake Wenatchee. There\'s a Safeway about a mile in the other direction. The property is surrounded established apple and pear orchards. Don\'t miss the farmers market on Thursday evenings at the school.

Absolutely amazing! Stayed here with our small dog to do some hiking in the area & to check out downtown Leavenworth. Super quick drive into town, and close to a couple different hikes. Very private and beautiful neighborhood. The inside was so cozy and we felt so comfortable there. The bed was SUPER comfy! Outside deck was perfect for morning coffees. Wish we could have stayed for longer!! Would definitely come back.

Great Stay

We had a great stay! We came for a little remote work-cation and this home fit the bill. The space is beautiful and well decorated, and the kitchen is stocked with almost anything you might need. There are homes right out front and behind, but since living is all on the 2nd floor, it still feels private. Views from the deck are great and we enjoyed having our morning coffee out there. We worked during the week, and Wi-Fi was reliable enough for both of us to be on video calls for over an hour at the same time! The hot tub is clean and easy to use, but the cover does block the best view when it\'s open. The home is close to downtown Leavenworth and hiking in the area. It was exactly what we were looking for!

No Extra Cleaning

The best part about it was they did not have a lot of clean up instructions after charging you a cleaning fee. Most places will charge you a couple hundred for cleaning and tell you to clean up the whole house, start laundry, make the house next for the whole guests. All they asked was to wash your dishes and if you would like to start a load, do the towels.

Very clean above garage apartment. Only minutes from downtown Leavenworth and the reindeer farm. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Nice views from all directions.

This is a terrific place. The cabin is clean, contemporary and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials. The towels and sheets were in great condition. The only knock on the place is there is a very large heat vent right above the middle of the bed, so it’s hard to have the heat on low without overheating. However, the cabin is amazing and highly recommended! The view is breathtaking!

Just spent two nights here as a fall little getaway and it was a great little vrbo! I wouldn’t recommend this for more than two adults it’s be really tight quarters otherwise but for us it was great!

The property is gorgeous. However, the property manager continuously asked me to sign contracts I already had, despite notifying them and speaking with them. This occurred all the way up to less than an hour before getting access to the rental. Additionally, the property manager required the use of a third-party dashboard to get door codes, which was not explained until we called them to figure out what was going on.
Tyler, Thank you so much for your feedback as it is really appreciated. Regarding the contract debacle, we so apologize for that as we came to find out the 3rd party vendor we use was experiencing a glitch and not feeding the signed contracts back into our system, this has been resolved and again are sorry it caused you some stress as that is certainly not the norm. We are thrilled you enjoyed the Berg Haus and thought it was beautiful. VRBO is a booking platform (so they are the 3rd party) and so yes, we do have our own software for our guest's portal which includes all of the pertinent information our guests will need for their stay, besides access/house information it also includes area information for guests to utilize during their stay so everything is in one place. We are sorry you felt it was too much, many folks love it and the ease of use as it is explained in our confirmation email so again if there was any confusion on that, it was not intentional. We are a property manager for over 50 homes in the area so we take direct bookings as well and would love to have you back in the future so things may not be so overwhelming and you will also be privy to your return guest discount so you get the best rates. We had a fantastic stay. This home was perfect. Owner paid attention to every detail. There was nothing more we could have asked for to make our stay more comfortable. If I had to make one suggestion I would recognize a firmer mattress in the bedroom. It was a bit too soft and the frame very squeaky. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Needed a quick getaway with a change of view with my wife and this place was perfect. The views are 360 of mountains, orchards and valleys-wow! Super clean and setup perfectly for what we needed for our stay. It was a quick drive to Leavenworth too, 5 minutes. Our own private paradise with views galore. We will be back. The home had everything we needed and then some. We loved the hot tub, and the convenience of being so close to town but feeling we were "away from it all." Icicle Winery is just down the road and so is the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm. We got to enjoy both. We are already planning on our summer stay here. Thank you NW Comfy Cabins for the memorable experience, it was on point.
