Winter in the Cascade Mountains is beautiful, but it also requires preparation.
Please note that roads and driveways become snow- and ice-covered during the winter months. For your safety and to help ensure reliable access, all guests arriving in separate vehicles should plan accordingly.
We strongly recommend:
4WD or AWD vehicles equipped with quality traction or winter tires
Carrying tire chains for all vehicles, even if conditions appear clear
Winter boots with traction for walking on snowy or icy surfaces
While our team works diligently to keep the driveway plowed and sanded, winter weather can change quickly. Driveway and road conditions may vary throughout the day, and we cannot guarantee the condition of the driveway at the time of your arrival. We also rely on both our snow removal contractor and Chelan County to maintain the driveway entrance and surrounding roads.
If you're planning a winter stay, we simply ask that you come prepared for mountain driving and allow a little extra time and patience when traveling. Being well-equipped will help ensure a safe and enjoyable trip to the cabin.
