Berg Haus
Incredible mountain and valley view’s surround Berg Haus (Permit #000240), upper-level cottage living. Newly built and just 2 miles from the epicenter of the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth you will find “Berg Haus” inviting you home.
Cozy and comfortable for 2-4 guests, the cottage offers a full kitchen including a D/W, eating bar and open concept living with accents of cabin décor and country charm.
The living area showcases a propane fireplace, flat screen TV with streaming capabilities and a reading nook space that allows you to view the mountains just outside the sliding glass door. There is also a sleeper sofa for littles in the living area. Step out onto the upper-level deck living space and enjoy a grilled meal of local bratwursts on the Traeger, while sipping on a local glass of Malbec and soaking in all that surrounds you.
The charming bedroom offers a king bed and access to the bathroom with shower and full-size front-loading W/D.
This well-appointed getaway will be your new favorite place when needing to escape the hustle and bustle of daily living, especially the hot tub under the stars or under the Alpenglow of the morning sunrise. Please note that there are full-time residents who live in the other home on the lot.

Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there will be ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. No exceptions
While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

When we were ready to go exploring, it was less than 10 minutes to get to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. It was such a great stay!

by ChristeaWe absolutely loved our visit to Leavenworth and would never stay anywhere else when coming again! The apartment was in an absolutely breathtaking location surrounded by trees, very quiet and had a gorgeous view of the mountains and was conveniently located only 5 minutes from stores and all of the shops/restaurants/attractions. One of the nights my husband got really sick and I had to call an ambulance and the next morning the owner had left us a care package with waters, pedialite, liquid IV and Gatorade’s. That was so extremely thoughtful and went above and beyond. I chatted with him for a bit and he was very friendly. The jacuzzi was sooooo relaxing, the place was very clean, the kitchen had everything you could ever need, the bed was comfortable, the shower had the perfect water pressure, lots of extra blankets/pillows/towels. I could go on and on. I’m an introvert who is a homebody and I did not want to go home because I loved this place soooo much. Book it, you won’t regret it.

by BradWe just needed a quick get away after our daughter's wedding. It was a great way to unwind and relax. We love Leavenworth! One of our favorite places to visit. The fact that this location was so close to town, was fabulous! The only thing I can say that needed a little work was the lawn area. It was difficult for our older dog to walk on as it was very dry and brittle and on a hot day, it hurt her paws. But other then that! We rate it a 10 plus!

by JoshuaSuper close to town (just a 6-minute drive, with the Amtrak station in between, or a quick and affordable Lyft) but with views that make you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere—this place really offers the best of both worlds. It’s well-appointed, with a comfy king bed and a porch you’ll want to spend all your time on. You don’t have to choose between a retreat from society or a day spent in town. The open, flowing floor plan makes it perfect for a couple.

The deck looking towards the mountain view was out favorite part. We had a tiny electrical issue upon check-in and NW Comfy Cabins and the owner were both very responsive and fixed the issue quickly. The house was pristine and felt very private. We will be coming back

by KatieWe had a beautiful and relaxing stay. We took advantage of the private hot tub and upper deck on many occasions. The window seat was our favorite, and the bed was really comfortable. Every morning my daughter woke-up and said “that was the best sleep I’ve ever had!” We plan to come back again (and again). Couple things: 7 y/o kid gives the house 4 (out of 5) stars because they would have liked more games available. The dog gave it 6 (out of 5) stars because he got loose and there were no fences to keep him in.
