The main floor unfolds to reveal two private bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a full bed, accompanied by a full bathroom. Ascend the stairs to discover an open loft featuring a 3/4 bathroom, a log queen bed, and a functional desk with a chair.

The cabin's charm is accentuated by tongue-and-groove ceilings, locally milled ponderosa pine trim, hardwood maple floors, granite counters, and custom cabinetry in the kitchen, creating a timeless mountain ambiance. Enjoy the great outdoor space, featuring a propane firepit, a concrete patio, and a spacious front deck for al fresco lounging and dining. Conveniently located in the serene Ponderosa Estates community in the heart of Plain, the cabin is within easy reach of Wenatchee River access, hiking/snowshoeing trails, and a myriad of year-round recreational activities, including river rafting, rock climbing, skiing, snowmobiling, and more.

There are no vehicle restrictions on vehicle types for spring/summer/fall for cabin access. Winter guests please see cautionary notes below:

Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is ice/snow on the ground and a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended.

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

This was such a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean, the check in process was very easy and the location is beautiful! This is a beautiful 30 minute drive to Leavenworth. The best part was the hot tub! Although this cabin is located in a small community of other cabins, the stay felt very private. We loved our stay!

Great place to stay. Came for Oktoberfest, the only negative we had was how difficult it was to get a ride back after the event , but that’s in no way the fault of the accommodation. It was cozy , roomy and the hot tub is great . Would stay here again!

Very nice, spacious cabin about a 30 minute drive from Leavenworth. And so clean, like one of the cleanest airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Despite being in a very woodsy area, I didn’t encounter one single bug which is a huge plus for me. The hot tub was a fabulous bonus. Also, I worried a little about how treacherous/mountainous the drive would be, but getting there was a breeze. Very enjoyable stay!

We had such a nice time celebrating the 4th of July in Plain! We wanted to get away from the fireworks with our pup and our baby and our stay was so comfortable, it was easy to take walks, and it was very quiet. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay with family!

Nice getaway

The place was clean and well-stocked. We appreciated that the hot tub was in great shape and is regularly serviced (so many short-term rentals advertise a hot tub but they are sometimes sub-par and in need of repair). The location is an easy drive to or from Leavenworth, but there are a lot of neighbors nearby, so it’s not particularly private. However, the neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. They provided bags to clean up after the dogs and a jar of dog treats, which was a nice touch. If you are staying with dogs, it’s a good idea to bring crates since dogs aren’t allowed on furniture or beds, so the only other place to isolate them when you leave is a bathroom. At least one previous guest tried that and the inside of the wooden bathroom door was scratched up. Your dogs will always be happier in their own space that they are used to. Crate train them and travel with the crate so that dog-friendly spaces stay that way.

Very quaint spot outside of Leavenworth. We enjoyed the layout of this cabin and felt we could truly spend some quality family time and relax here. We took a few walks around the neighborhood as well and the community of homes nearby were lovely. We also had a BBQ during our stay and ate like kings. We all would definitely stay again!

The cabin you’re looking for

This was such an amazing and beautiful place to stay. The host was more than accommodating and very nice. They checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory and when we needed anything at all they would respond to questions almost immediately. We were very impressed and I’d love to make a tradition out of staying here. We had so much fun. It was about 25 minutes away from Leavenworth which we were not expecting however it proved to be EXACTLY what we wanted. Leavenworth was packed full of people and there were people that couldn’t find parking at their own hotel! We didn’t have that problem at all here. We love this place and are looking forward to returning soon! Also, this place was extremely clean! No complaints from us! 5/5 experience!

Location was ideal. We found that the cabin was supplied with everything we needed. We did find that a rocking chair arm was broken and batteries were dead in the remote for the fireplace. I replaced the batteries with new ones I had. I would have expected for the price that everything was in better working order.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us Douglas. It is always SO appreciated when a guest takes the time to let us know how their stay went and every commment is taken to heart. Often things such as batteries are a simple fix and once we are relayed that information we can send field crew over with new ones so a guest should not need to purchase any themselves so I apologize for that. The rocking chair has been removed. :O) We hope to hear from you again.

The hot tub was great! The Mountain View from the kitchen window is spectacular! Front deck and grill are very nice. Loved the outdoor firepit and the stove inside. Very cozy. We even made friends with the cute frog. Everything worked and is just as described. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely book through them again in the future.
