For ultimate relaxation, the cabin features a 6-person hot tub positioned just above the water’s edge, providing the perfect spot to unwind while taking in the stunning views.
Moose Head Lodge comfortably accommodates up to six guests with three well-appointed bedrooms. The main floor features a cozy bedroom with a queen log bed, while the two upstairs bedrooms include a queen bed in one room and a set of bunk beds plus a twin bed in the other. The main floor bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower combination and includes a washer and dryer for added convenience. There is an additional bathroom in an outbuilding, which features a private shower.
The inviting main living space is designed for relaxation and togetherness. Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. No exceptions
While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

by KennedyIt is a perfect size cabin for a family of 4 like us. There were 2 queen beds and one kids room with 3 twin beds, and one bathroom inside the cabin. Spacious backyard and wenatchee river on the back. Overall the stay was comfortable and we would love to visit again.

by JoshGreat cabin just outside of Leavenworth (maybe 20 min)! Hot tub was nice, plenty of space for family of four. Great kitchen and lots of room to relax and eat. Comfortable. Little town like 5 min away (Plain) has coffee and grocery (look for Just Plain Grocery and Plain Hardware).
Driveway has a “lower” level and it’s a tad steep/icy in the winter as described in the listing. AWD Model 3 was fine, but I parked up the tiny hill outside the garage just to make it easier. This meant a small walk down/up the hill a few times each day. This was TOTALLY fine for me and my young family of four (my kids used the provided sleds down the hill every morning) but I’m calling it out for anyone with mobility issues in the winter. I’d stay here again for sure!!!
Appreciated the sleds, dirt/sand and shovel to clear the snow and ice, lots of towels, basic kitchen supplies, detergent, the very very cool heated walkway leading to the hot tub, quiet neighborhood, and the serene view out the back.

by NathanWe had a great stay here! The host was very responsive and friendly. The kitchen had a good amount of kitchenware which was a welcome surprise. Also, the driveway was icy and steep as described, so make sure your car has AWD/4WD, especially if there’s snow in the forecast.

My wife and I loved this place. As new parents with running a small business, our lives are a bit hectic as of late. This place was the perfect getaway to unplug and gets some solid R&R. Especially for my wife. Our two dogs loved it as well! They were very clear and thorough with instructions, descriptions and checkout. The house was beautiful, hot tub was solid, and being on a river was a spectacular view. The surroundings were super quiet as we had no neighbors during our stay. We would be highly interested in staying here again! Thank you for the thorough instructions, overall cleanliness and vibes, and a wonderful stay!!
I grew up in Washington and wanted to bring my husband and kids back to experience the mountains and town of Leavenworth (which if you don’t know is basically the real life version of whoville in the grinch during winter)! Although it wasn’t quite winter, we were so thankful to stay in a beautiful log cabin, on Wenatchee river and just a 20 min drive to all the things. If we’re ever lucky enough to return in winter, we’d be lucky to stay here again
