The lodge is set within a picturesque oasis, boasting one of the best low-bank riverfront locations in Plain Valley. A stone staircase leads down to a secluded sandy beach, where guests can enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river and the beauty of the natural surroundings. For ultimate relaxation, the cabin features a 6-person hot tub positioned just above the water’s edge, providing the perfect spot to unwind while taking in the stunning views.

Moose Head Lodge comfortably accommodates up to six guests with three well-appointed bedrooms. The main floor features a cozy bedroom with a queen log bed, while the two upstairs bedrooms include a queen bed in one room and a set of bunk beds plus a twin bed in the other. The main floor bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower combination and includes a washer and dryer for added convenience. There is an additional bathroom in an outbuilding, which features a private shower.

The inviting main living space is designed for relaxation and togetherness. While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. Everything was exactly as described

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was exactly as described and we felt like we had our own private oasis even with homes/cabins on either side. Things to note: There is access directly into the river from the property. The river is pretty fast right now (early June) but there is a shallow area to wade, skip rocks, and splash around for kiddos. We tried to get all the way in on the hottest day of our stay, but the water was still too cold. The hot tub fixed that! There is a queen bed and bathroom on the main floor, with 2 bedrooms upstairs. One has a queen, and the other has a twin bunk and another twin bed too. Guest house has a queen bed and bathroom too. If you need complete dark to sleep, then the main floor queen is for you. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have semicircle windows without shades above the regular windows. The house was very clean and had lots of cookware. Just bring your own foil/saran wrap. Overall, 5/5 highly recommend. We will be back!

I had a little trouble figuring out how to get a hold of someone but that could also just be my inexperience with navigating the Airbnb app and Company serving the rental. overall our stay was amazing and it was a super special trip. the place was peaceful in a beautiful setting fully stocked with everything that we needed and more. it was incredibly clean and comfortable and homey with pretty much all the amenities that I was looking for. I think this is probably one of my favorite places I've stayed so far on a mini trip in our beautiful state of Washington and I hope to come back again in the future

My wife and I loved this place. As new parents with running a small business, our lives are a bit hectic as of late. This place was the perfect getaway to unplug and gets some solid R&R. Especially for my wife. Our two dogs loved it as well! They were very clear and thorough with instructions, descriptions and checkout. The house was beautiful, hot tub was solid, and being on a river was a spectacular view. The surroundings were super quiet as we had no neighbors during our stay. I grew up in Washington and wanted to bring my husband and kids back to experience the mountains and town of Leavenworth (which if you don’t know is basically the real life version of whoville in the grinch during winter)! Although it wasn’t quite winter, we were so thankful to stay in a beautiful log cabin, on Wenatchee river and just a 20 min drive to all the things. Great spot and beautiful cabin! The hot tub worked great with tons of space. There is another tiny home cabin on the property that is absolutely stunning with a complete bathroom and coffee inside. They were more than accommodating and made the entire stay super easy and comfy! Only a 30 minutes away from Leavenworth, it was the perfect spot!

What a beautiful cabin on the river! We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the fire pit and hot tub. The house had more than enough space for four adults and my pup. Even though the neighboring properties were close it felt extremely private in the yard. We also received lots of great information and recommendations for things to do in the area from the host. Peace and Quiet!

We stayed in mid-July and really enjoyed the peace of the community and the river being right there off the backyard! We floated the Wenatchee River, enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor grill, and just the overall peace and quiet this location has to offer. My wife said, “If you offered to go back again in a couple days…I would say yes!” Sounds like I better bookmark this place.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

My family of four (two adults, two kids - ages 11 & 8) had a wonderful weekend! The cabin is the perfect size, layout, with plenty of parking (although we had one car), and all of the extras you could need. The view of the river is just beautiful from the main living space and we enjoyed reading quietly as a family in front of the fireplace. A note for families with children: The river was moving swiftly, so we were diligent about our kids staying safe when near the water’s edge … life jackets are a must! We’ll definitely visit again!
