Located in a peaceful neighborhood, it’s just a short drive from plenty of activities, wineries, and the town of Leavenworth. When we weren’t out hiking, exploring town, or sipping wine, we were relaxing in the hot tub and soaking in the stunning views. The host has added charming decor touches to make it feel cozy and welcoming, and they were attentive and quick to respond. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

by JustinWe enjoyed our stay at DAS TREE HAUS over New Year's 2025. It was a nice, quiet and scenic getaway. I especially enjoyed the hot tub. We would consider returning during months when the porch could be enjoyed, would love to sit out there and read and grill. Couple items I would note: - The decor in this small cabin felt cluttered. It seemed like every spare inch was occupied by a pillow or a plant or a decoration of some sort. I appreciate the holiday spirit, but it really was excessive for our tastes. Less is more, especially in a confined space. - The communication via automated messaging, both emails and text was overly repetitive. I received multiple messages in different formats with essentially the same info. It was too much. - Owner / management company should consider adding a humidifier in winter months, it was very dry with the multiple heaters running.

The bed was insanely comfortable they even provided robes, slippers, eye masks and ear plugs they are very thoughtful also adding a printed book of all the good places to eat and fun things to do even the hikes that you can take your dogs on and what ones you can't! for real you guys stay here they are so amazing!!!

We did enjoy everything we planned for and Das Tree Haus delivered everything it promised! Do trust the instructions to arrive, which is it is very simple and straight forward, will take you to the place. I had the Google Maps active as a side kick but, as the owners described, it does not take you to the cabin door step. It is a perfect get away for two people. We did enjoy it during cold season, but I am sure it can be well enjoyed during summer as well! The place is very well equipped! We cooked three full meals and we found everything we needed. Already have plans to come back!

We were looking for a cozy, quiet getaway where we could be in nature and soak in a hot tub and that’s exactly what we got. I will say, be careful where you park. We had a large amount of snow fall from the trees above our car and our windshield cracked. Overall, the stay was great and we would book this properly again!

When I viewed the pictures, I didn’t realize just how small it was which meant the couch needed to be small! Luckily my husband and I are not very tall people and we spent most of our time in Leavenworth because it was not the most comfortable thing. The home was just as beautiful as the pictures though! I was worried about finding the location but gps navigated it just fine! I also appreciate how responsive they were when I needed to message. There was always a quick reply! This was a perfect escape to the woods! We would love to be back again some time!

Our stay at Das Tree Haus was simply magical. My wife and I needed a few days away from Seattle to work remotely while having the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful setting while enjoying Leavenworth in the evenings for dinner and strolling about. The property is perfectly situated overlooking the Wenatchee River (nestled among other cabins and mountains homes and overlooking many of them). Das Tree Haus is wonderfully appointed with everything you would need for a stay there. The wrap around deck is cozy with ample seating, gas BBQ, lounging chairs etc. It was a perfect office space for 3 days. WiFi was great and strong enough to support Zoom and Teams calls. Leavenworth is an easy 20 minute drive from the Cabin. We will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Can’t recommend this spot enough! It was breathtakingly gorgeous, I couldn’t tear myself away from that deck! Stocked with everything we needed and just the perfect amount of space for two of us. What a view! It’s a great place to recharge. It was great, clean and pet friendly. We really enjoyed having the best view and being able to work outside in the open air. The internet is decent for basic work if you are coding it can be a bit slower than what you may need but did want to include as I see other reviews saying it doesn’t work at all. The drive to town is about 25 minutes- was not a problem for us but something to map out. I was able to find a few hikes within 7 minutes away so that was great too. Would love to return, had a great stay! Also shoutout to the hot tub maintenance person- we lost our phone when leaving and he was super helpful!

Amazing view. Loved relaxing there. Little details were thought of, like board games to play and spices for cooking. Bed was comfy. Although if you wake up to pee a lot, get the edge. I can see why this place stays booked up! I wanted a birthday stay-cation just for myself (and my small Corgi Garrus), and decided to find a place out in the woods near Leavenworth. This was exactly what I was looking for! Quiet, scenic, close to town but still away from the hustle and bustle. I loved the porch and drinking my coffee out on the deck while looking over the misty river below and snowy mountaintops. At night I made s\'mores the firepit. It\'s a small place, so I definitely recommend sticking to just one or two people like it requests. So if you\'re used to having space, that could be a potential issue for you but it wasn\'t for me. The house is so well designed and thought out - everything you could need but stored smartly and not in the way. I also found it was really easy to find. As long as you follow their directions and stay straight at the 3-road fork, you cannot miss it. I arrived after dark and still didn\'t get lost. Highly recommend it and hopefully I\'ll be back!

We had such a wonderful time at this mountain get away. It’s about 25 minutes from downtown Leavenworth, so we were able to conveniently get to and from town to see the sights. On the days where we didn’t feel like leaving, it was such a serene place to be- there’s nothing quite like sipping a cold drink in a hot tub looking out over the mountains.

Das Tree Haus was a great find. This place was secluded with a beautiful view- both during the day and at night for star gazing. Great home to relax and have some reflection time. It was cozy and had everything I needed for a quick escape from the city. The location was great as a hub to explore different places. Hosts were fantastic with providing detailed directions on how to get here and were very responsive. Check in and out we\'re a breeze. Will definitely be back in the future!

Views and hot tub were great! Loved that they had curtains that you could pull around the hot tub for privacy. Outdoor deck area was wonderful and truly what made the experience! The deck was well cleaned, no webs/dust built up. Toiletries were available in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. Nice that there were games and movies available. Couple call outs- Bed and couch a both very firm. It’s also about 30 minutes from Leavenworth. It’s nice that it’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle but be prepared to drive any time you want to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice stay. Thanks for having us!

- Clear instructions to the cabin. Protip: Google mapping the route in advance and following the street view is really helpful to ensure guests take the correct road at the fork. - Signage was clear and helpful at the cabin and surrounding neighborhood - All essentials were conveniently located and accessible. - Stay was comfortable and welcoming. The Saturday Farmer's market in Plain was a nice surprise and we also stumbled upon live music at Plain Winery in the evening. - Thank you for the reminds upon checkin and checkout! - 2 suggestions: - please consider adding another AC unit in the bedroom in the warmer seasons. The bedroom got toasty in the evenings and made sleeping tough the first night. We were able to reposition the box fan into the hallway to pull the AC air from the living room the 2nd night, which helped cool down the space more, but created a bit of an obstacle. - sweeping the patio between guests. There was a collection of pine needles throughout the deck and one of the decorative signs had fallen onto the deck when we arrived. Overall, thank you for a marvelous stay! We look forward to coming back!

Das Tree Haus was next level! Nestled among the pines, this treehouse gave me killer views of the Wenatchee River and Icicle Ridge. The wraparound deck was my go-to chill spot - great place to take in the changing scenes. Nights were all about stargazing the firepit, with the river and mountains as a backdrop - pure magic! And the hot tub? Nothing like soaking away your stress and shooting the breeze. This spot was the ultimate blend of nature and comfort. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a badass getaway - can\'t wait to head back!

This was the perfect romantic getaway for my partner and I! It has all the amenities we could ask for: hot tub, grill, coffee, fire pit, a gorgeous view, comfy bed, and all the small details that make a house a home. Wish we would’ve stayed for longer! Only downside (which we were expecting) were that the roads getting there were a bit dangerous; if coming in the winter make sure you have a good car for snowy/icy roads!

We found the property delightful, well appointed, and everything clean and in order. The space is small but well laid out and the view is out of this world. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck at the built-in, raw-edged bar top. The hot tub worked perfectly and spa robes were provided. The bed was super comfortable. A well-appointed kitchen allowed us to cook our meals on-site. We loved the place and will definitely be back!

Such a great space! We stayed for just a weekend with our two sizable dogs and they enjoyed it too! Deck space to run around, a friendly road we could walk them, they provided some dog toys which they were thrilled about! And Plain is a great town! Friendly, great little stores if you need or forgot something and the café is delicious! The hot tub was also a nice touch in the evenings. Star gazing in the warmth in the evening or warming up in the mornings under the view of the mountains. Perfect weekend get away!!

We sprung for this cabin because of the views and were so glad we did! We enjoyed the view while having breakfast, sitting in the very clean hot tub, and reading books on the deck chairs. The cabin is 5 minutes from a convenience store so although it’s a little further from Leavenworth anything you might need is close by.

We loved our stay at Das Tree House! My fiancé and I were looking for a getaway for a few days to unplug and just soak in some nature. This was it! The hot tub was great, the home had all the things we needed, and the use of space was really masterful (note there are some changes to the living room since the pictures were taken - its got a cozy L couch and more space between the TV and coffee table now)! It\'s clear the owners take their feedback seriously as the critical comments from previous renters all were addressed in updates, including privacy curtains the hot tub and a partial fence to add privacy from neighbors. The only challenge we had is that we have a big dog and there wasn\'t much space for her crate. We did manage to put it between the bed and the closet, but it meant we couldn\'t use the bedroom patio door. However, our dog loved being able to go on the back patio with us as the patio is fully fenced in! Last few notes for folks coming here, there is a window AC unit in the living room, but it\'s a bit tough to keep the place cool during 100+F weather so plan accordingly! And if you want your own specific brand of coffee, note that there\'s a Keurig, but we didn\'t see anything for loose ground coffee, though it was hardly an issue for us. Thank you for having us! We\'d love to come back again someday.

The house is small as expected, but cozy and with only two of us, we didn’t need anymore room! We had everything we needed for cooking full meals, playing games in the living room and just sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful view; we even got an impromptu rain & thunder storm. We were a little confused finding the place because the listing and the check-in email had different addresses, but once we looked further into the check in portal, we found the written out directions. — The place could use a good top to bottom clean; lots of high up dust & cobwebs. The shower was also not draining, but we cleaned it all out. ???? Thanks for a fabulous birthday escape!

We enjoyed our time here. You’re a little bit of a drive away from Leavenworth, but the town of Plain is right there if you need essentials. Follow the instructions they give you to get to the cabin, it’s really helpful. We brought our 2 dogs and the deck was big enough for them and for us. The back bedroom does get warmer in the summer even with the living room window AC working, but there is a ceiling fan and portable fan available.

If you’re looking to unplug with an amazing view of the river, this place is for you! Note the wi-fi is low and the back room gets warm so would recommend downloading shows prior to arrival and using the fan in the bedroom closet to stimulate airflow during the summer months, respectively. The hot tub was updated since we stayed here last winter and the secluded feeling in this tucked cabin is intimate. Would recommend for a romantic get away from the city. ????

My boyfriend and I had a great time at the cabin! It is close to Leavenworth and has a gorgeous view. The cabin itself inside is a little small, but it is cozy and has everything you need. The deck (and the view) is amazing! We loved the fire table, grill, and the hot tub. ???? The only thing I’d like to mention is that the road this cabin sits on has two entrances- one way (the southern entrance- more direct from town, how Google routed us) is fairly primitive and I didn’t feel comfortable in my Honda Civic driving on it. However, if you drive up north, there is another entrance that is totally fine!

This place was amazing! The pictures they took make it look amazing as is but in person it’s even better! I had coffee every morning on the back deck. If you turn the ac off you can hear the river from down below and in the evenings it gets pretty windy which for me is a huge plus because the sound of the trees and river together is breath taking with the view. The hot tub was in working order for us. And previous reviews mentioned the dvd makes too much noise but if you turn everything off at night I promise you it’s dead quiet. I like some noise so I left the ac on at night for the soft hum. I recommend trying to figure out the nice lights on the deck during the day as we tried to find the switch at night and it was not easy lol. They have a great set up of lights and privacy curtains. Neighbors are close but I’m a super private person and I always felt secluded regardless of that fact just because of how well they arranged everything. It’s totally worth a stay if you were on the fence about it!

This was a darling place and careful attention has been paid to details. We spent a good deal of time relaxing and enjoying the view on the deck: it was dark enough to see stars clearly. Most everything we needed was easy to find. The small kitchen was as well equipped as is reasonable for its size. The negatives: although there were few people around, a curtain in the bedroom wasn't quite long enough to cover the whole window; the bed was too soft for my taste. Overall, a perfect place to spend our anniversary!

However, when used at night it feels very private as it gets dark outside. Even with neighbors near by, the cabin feels very private. We spent the majority of our time on the back deck enjoying the view, which truly is amazing. The only things I would change if I could would be to have a privacy screen around the hot tub and a cleaner house upon arrival (hair around and in shower, dead bug hanging from shelf, dirty grill, and dusty ceiling fans). Overall, we are so happy we stayed here and would do it again.

Number one and Biggest complaint, not very private. A well traveled road about 10 feet from windows and Hot Tub (could easily see road while in Hot Tub). There is a fence between road and cabin, but people in tall vehicles or on horseback could easily see in windows or hot tub. Even deck can be seen from nearhomes. Bedroom and Bathroom had good privacy. Modern, easy to use kitchen and bathroom. More mirrors than Bath and Bedroom, which I thought was odd. DVD Player and Ceiling Fans are noisy, outside grill could be cleaner. If your dog is skittish, they won't like this cabin (we live in Seattle suburbs and our dog was not happy). Overall very good, felt description was little misleading about privacy.

This cabin is nice. Our visit was just recently when this area was getting pounded snow.That's a good and bad thing. The roads were kept plowed even up in the woods and for that we're thankful. The view is EVERYTHING! The space was perfect for just 2 people. Anymore then that and it would be crowded. The biggest downfall to this cabin would be the "hot tub" Its more like a large bath tub and it was not even what I would consider warm. In fact I had to get out and go take a shower to warm up.myself and my husband could not even sit in it together comfortably without laying across eachother. Its also awkwardly placed right out side the front door. Which is weird since there is a beautiful large deck on the back of the cabin with plenty of room for it. My guess is because the back deck isn't fully covered it wasn't placed there. that was disappointing. kitchen came well equipped for all our needs. Major downfall besides the hot tub, no wifi. Other homes in the area had them that are rented this company, but not this house. Being in the woods and when it dumping snow, can be a safety issue. With no service and no wifi that was concerning. so beware of that! Quite a few of the lights that are strung around the house were burnt out( minor replacement)but these lights are necessary since it gets dark in this area at night. Tip: Pack LOTS of movies if you come in the winter as there is no cable. We enjoyed our stay. We visited the merchant cafe in town for breakfast and it was not disappointing. Give it a try!

The best part was the deck, which is where we spent most of our time gazing at the view, grilling, and hot tubbing. The location, close to hikes and Lake Wenatchee fun, was a bonus.

I was apprehensive about this rental simply because it looked so perfect on the posting. I was worried it was too good to be true. However, upon arrival, every fear that I had melted away and was replaced overwhelming satisfaction and glee. The view was phenomenal, the hot tub was relaxing, and the deck is larger than it seems! There is also a large variety of VHS tapes to choose from in the loft, and this was a wonderful, nostalgic surprise. On the day of checkout, all I could think about was when we would be able to stay here again. Absolutely worth it in every way. If you’re looking for the perfect, relaxing getaway with your partner, this is the place to go.
We really try hard to show our properties as best we can, but we also encourage our owners (and ourselves) to continue to improve and enhance their cabins all the time, so that our guests are more excited once they are there than just in the photos. We honestly love to over deliver if we possible can, so for you to mention that was a really nice thing to hear. My wife and I stayed at Das Tree Haus for a seventh anniversary. It was a wonderful and secluded getaway cabin with breathtaking views. Close to Plain WA (5 minutes away) where we could zip in for breakfast or shop at the country store for food or incidentals. 25 minutes or so to Leavenworth, Wa was just perfect for a country drive. The cabin was well appointed for only being 600+ sq ft. and never felt crowded. The jacuzzi and fire pit sealed the deal for you and completed our relaxing long weekend.
Thank you for sharing. The Das Tree Haus is so full of quaint and coziness that people really do enjoy the many features of the cabin as well as the area and who can forgot that view. We are pleased that you enjoyed it and we thank you for being our guests.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time staying in the das tree haus cabin. The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for two! It is near other cabins but still feels secluded and private which kept the weekend stay a little romantic. The view of the river, on the back deck was pretty and from the deck we could also watch badeer in the morning while we ate breakfast. My favorite part about the das tree haus cabin was not only the pretty view but also the cute little hot tub on the front deck. While in the hot tub, we still had a nice view of the rive! It was so relaxing. This cabin is very homy and cozy. We felt right at home here. I would definitely recommend this place to any and all family members and friends!

The view was beautiful and the cabin was spotless. I loved sitting on the back deck next to the firepit. The mattress in the bedroom needs replacing and the hot tub could use a little less chlorine. However the overall stay was fantastic. I would not hesitate recommending Das Tree Hause.

The Das Tree Haus was a a great place for our romantic weekend getaway! The house if around 16 miles from Leavenworth so the commute wasn't to lengthy. The property is cozy - perfect for a couple and even for a child or two. The location was very clean both inside the house and around the property. Most basic cooking/eating utensils were available except we were not able to find tongs for the BBQ or a wine bottle opener. The house had plenty of seating downstairs and a futon, pillows and bean bag chairs in the small loft upstairs. The loft looks to be meant for younger children however my partner and I ended up in the loft each evening watching VHS movies from the wide selection provided. It was a bit nostalgic!The bed in the master bedroom was a little disappointing as it seems to be at the point of replacing. My partner and I had to sleep with out knees pointed towards the center so that we did not roll into each other. We really enjoyed the hot tub which was a good size for 2 adults. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived along with fresh towels.The view from the porch is AMAZING!! We watched a gorgeous sunrise 1 morning when it was clear enough and even had snow on the last day of our stay.The management company was quick with responses to our questions and very friendly! We would enjoy coming back to this property in the future (hopefully the bed has been replaced.)

The cabin was very clean & well-decorated. It is a little on the snug side but absolutely perfect for a couple or a small family (w/ younger kids not older ones). The view from the deck is lovely and the BBQ & fireplace area is comfortable and well-kept. The cabin has convenient amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, & TV) but there isn't much in the way of food/provisions kept in stock. Overall our stay was very pleasant & I would stay there again!

Food items are not left at the cabins as we cannot assure the quality and safety of any open items. This cabin was beautifully situated with views of the mountains and the river. It was very clean and cozy - very comfortable for the two of us. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the deck while taking in the views. It was very quiet and we even heard eagles in the background. We had some trouble lighting the fireplace on the deck but we called for help and they came out and fixed it right away. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it!

This was an amazing find. So cozy, with everything you could need aside from your own food. My boyfriend booked Das Tree Haus for a special getaway. It was beyond perfect. It was exactly as described if not better. The views are amazing and the property was well maintained. It was about a 20 minute trip to Leavenworth but so well worth the drive. There is a cute little loft upstairs with a TV and a ton of kid friendly movies, so would also be appropriate to bring a child. There isn't a lot of space, so definitely not for a family. Great that your furry kids are welcome too!!They definitely went above and beyond. There was a dozen gorgeous roses with champagne waiting. I do not believe this comes with the rental, but my sweet guy made it happen. So, if you have any special requests, definitely ask! Also in the directions it said the navigation would not take us there, but we used WAZE and it worked. Pay close attention, it is easily missed. They give you VERY GOOD directions and the AP isn't needed, but something to make a note of if you depend on technology like we do.

Very cute cabin with an amazing view! We loved that it was dog friendly and couldn't get over the view from the deck and loved sitting around the fire. The hot tub is perfect for 2 people and we were pleasantly surprised with a fireworks show from across the river on NYE that could be seen from the deck. However, the pictures make it seem a lot bigger - including the kitchen, and we were disappointed to find that there weren't many cooking utensils, etc. There's also no central heating, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. It was either way too hot or too cold in the cabin because every room had to be heated with its own heater. The shower/tub also wouldn't drain properly so we had to stand in an inch of water when we showered - wish they would have done a better job cleaning it so that wouldn't have happened.

The cabin was adorable with fabulous views of the river and mountains. Unfortunately the owners sent so many emails and phone calls prior, during and after the stay that it inhibited the relaxation of our trip and felt intrusive. I would not stay here again because of this. We also found hair in the towels, shower and the sheets of the bed yet were expected to clean a significant amount of the cabin ourselves prior to leaving.

I see you came to us through Homeaway (a 3rd party) which unfortunately will allow for your email to be bombarded additional emails/advertisements, is beyond the confirmation, contract, and hospitality app/check in information we send out. We do make 1 courtesy call to all of our guests before their arrival to ensure they have accessed the check in information and are able to answer any last minute questions at that time should they have any. It is always best to book directly with the source of the vacation rental management company so as to avoid that, as well as, avoid paying any additional booking charges that third party. We are addressing housekeeping as well as this is not the norm, and certainly not acceptable. Regarding the checkout list, I do hope you can elaborate..we simply ask that the D/W be loaded and started, a load of towels can be started as a courtesy if a guest should feel it is certainly not required, and besides the basic security checks of the home, left behind items check for your personal stuff, and ensuring the BBQ/Firepit Propane are turned to the off positions, there are no cleaning "requirements" of our guests, simply leave the house as it was upon your arrival. We came for our honeymoon out to Leavenworth an we wanted a “mountain escape” this house gave us exactly that!! The views were nice and the hot tub was great. The only downside was when we visited there were a large amount of bee’s so we couldn’t enjoy the deck as much as we’d like but it was a incredible house and loved every minute of our stay
Doggone Bee's!! I am so sorry to hear about the bees invading your time. They are rather unpredictable and we had such a light year of bees this year, but you never know where they will show up. I wish that we had known while you were here so we could set up traps and even smoke sticks like incense, works really well and we can always do that kind of thing to keep them at bay. We do have our phone numbers posted on the website, mobile app and at the cabin so we do monitor our phones and text at all times to be able to react when needed for this kind of thing. I hope you will come back again soon despite the bees, they really don't last long but they can be annoying when they show up. Our apologies to you both.

First & foremost, the cabin itself is quaint, charming & clean, which was very nice. The view STRAIGHT out the back porch (as photographed) is fantastic. However, your views & cabin are not exactly as secluded & private as it seems in the listing. (Note: I'd already booked the cabin prior to other reviews stating similarly.) You are right off of the road, you have neighbors at all sides, & in close proximity. No one was horrible, however 2 neighbors were doing construction projects (hammering, sawing, etc), another had multiple people over, including crying ba& yappy dog, & the road that comes up the hill was frequented loud ATVs & trucks. Due to the area, noise travels quite well too, so the home-building going on 1/2 mile down the road, you hear that too. I completely understand that the owners have no control over the neighbors, however it is pretty deceiving via the listing. So, it's a great little cabin, well stocked, clean, comfortable. BUT it is not completely private, secluded, or necessarily 100% peaceful like I had hoped.Maintenance Notes: Gates to deck need new latches (hottub doesn't latch at all), clock in bedroom needs batteries (not working).P.S. FYI The mosquitoes there are impervious to citronella candles! ????

This place is wonderful. Loved everything about it. One thing that was a little bit of a bummer was the proximity of other homes--it looks a lot more remote in the photographs than it is; there are two homes right next door so we kept our blinds down for part of the trip. The view from the deck is fantastic. We ate every meal out there, used the barbeque, and felt very at home in this perfect little tree house getaway. The cabin was very charming and had all of the comforts of home. It was exactly what we were looking for and was just like being in a treehouse. Once stepping out on to the wrap around deck all you can do is take a deep breath, take in the view and sit back in awe. The driving directions were very easy to follow and even though there were houses close by, we never noticed that we weren't alone. We will definitely be back!

First, this property isn't close to Leavenworth. If you are looking to be close to town for Oktoberfest... I wouldn't recommend booking this cabin. Upon arrival, we noticed that the outside of the property wasn't kept up, at all. The porch was covered in pine needles, the patio furniture was very dirty and the hot tub needed some TLC. We spent the first 1/2 hour of our stay cleaning up the outside. I have to agree with the previous post regarding the inside cleanliness as well, not impressed. Very important, this home is not level! From the middle of the kitchen to the master bedroom there is a downward slope. Considering the house is on a small cliff, I was glad we didn't spent much time in the cabin - little nerving. The master bed needs to be replaced, no support whatsoever in the mattress and the bed frame is on its last leg. Super noisy and we felt like it could collapse at any moment. The only good thing about this property is the view - which is pretty amazing!

My husband & I came here for a winter getaway the week before Christmas. It was perfect! The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable with breathtaking views. We went into Leavenworth and enjoyed all the lights, shops, and restaurants. We also took a horse drawn sleigh ride in the snow at near Eagle Creek Ranch. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back. My only recommendation would be is to replace the mattress as it does dip in the middle. Overall I give this cabin 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get away and unplug. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

When we arrived, I immediately noticed nothing outside of the house was cleaned or swept. There was debris from the trees, bird droppings, dust and grime all over the outside table and grill, an empty soda can on the deck.....but the view was great! Inside cleanliness wasn't much better. There was a big hair on the bathroom washcloth, and several hairs imbedded into our bath towels. I started to look around and noticed there was lots of hair on every window sill and in the corners of the floor. The walls were all marked up with black marks, especially in bedroom. The whole house desperately needs a paint job. The most disappointing part was it has the worst bed I've ever slept on. It's like a hammock with no support, and I was sleeping on a slope the whole night. Also awoke to find a peach we left out on the counter overnight had several big bites taken out of it, presumably a mouse. The pictures online lead me to believe it's a 5 star experience, private and beautiful. But very disappointed with how close all the other houses are, one looks directly into the hot tub area. Also, noticed the hot tub water was pouring out one side, and realized the entire deck was slanting down towards the cliff. Felt very unsafe, and needs a structural inspection. With a fresh coat of paint and a much better housekeeper, this place would be great.

The view and setting for this rental is amazing. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and cozy. The one thing I would replace would be the mattress as its actually really uncomfortable and noisey with every move.

Das Tree Haus was a clean and cozy cabin perfect for two people. The wrap around deck gets lots of late afternoon sun and is a great place to relax and take in the river views while eating dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, and the house had pretty much everything we needed. Very convenient to be able to do a load of laundry before leaving. No problem recommending a stay here.

We enjoyed a lovely mid-week stay and found the cabin to suit our needs perfectly. We hiked in the area during the days and came back to thorough relax in the evenings. The fenced deck was perfect for us and our dog. We spent peaceful times gazing at the river view and the stars at night. The cabin is very well-appointed and clean. We agree with other reviews that note the bed is not entirely comfortable, though. Otherwise everything was just right!

Well, it was terrible to try and find at night. The GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) are incorrect and take you down the First Camp 12 Road, and if not, you get taken all the way down the other road towards different rentals. Outside of that, the hot tub had some grime in it that I had to clean, and the propane grill was not all that great, as it couldn't even cook chicken all the way through. I also think it'd be great if the deck was cleared of snow between rentals.
We do give you a call the day before check in and tell guests to not use GPS as it does get you lost. This is why we supply you with written directions so this doesn't happen. I apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for your feedback. Danny

We came to go to Leavenworth for the Christmas Lights. This little cabin was probably the highlight of our trip. The view was beautiful, the hot tub was perfect and the atmosphere was just what we needed.

Great little cabin in a nice community. There are several trails to explore nearby. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Recommend updating the bedding with better quality sheets and comforter. Spectacular views.

The property was wonderfully cozy! Great amenities, aside the bedding. As noted other reviewers, the bedding wasn't very comfortable. My only other complaint is what I consider gauging for pet rent. I realize a lot of renters do it but I feel really taken advantage of when people charge per night for pets.

Overall we had a good time. I surprised my boyfriend with a trip for his birthday. Honestly, we got lost on the way, following the directions provided. They're horribly written directions. The hot tub didn't seem to be ON, although it was still warm. And despite all of the signs there actually weren't any instructions specific to that hot tub. The fire pit was out of propane, or the top was screwed on too tight, we would've needed tools to loosen it. And what a horribly uncomfortable bed. I actually couldn't wait to get back home to sleep in my own bed. My boyfriend's sentiments were the same since we both left with bad neckaches and backaches. Also, the location was at least 20 minutes away from the town of Leavenworth, which would've been good to know when I made that reservation.

Enjoyed my stay at this adorable cozy cabin! The view was absolutely beautiful! My significant other and I spent every meal out there on the deck. The cabin was the perfect gateway for a couple of days. The owner was extremely nice the day before our reservation they allowed us to bring our dog at the last minute, which I was very grateful for! I received emails from them upon my stay, just checking in making sure everything was going good. However I didn’t read them until I left, I wanted no contact from the outside world and the cabin fulfilled it. I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone about my experience.

We spent two nights at Das Tree Haus. First the postives: the deck is large and has a wonderful view. However, the cabin itself is quite cramped, the hot tub is tiny and luke warm, and the location is not as private as the pictures would lead you to believe. The blinds in the bedroom were falling apart, and the quality of furniture in the cabin is not high. The bed was not comfortable and there is no great space really for relaxing. For the price, I was expecting something of a little higher quality. We probably would not stay here again.
